This must be a prisoner rehab hotel. We had folks who looked like they just left prison, plus 9 cops/detectives with many evidence bags leaving someone's room.
If that weren't enough, the initial room we were given had nasty dirty dishes in the dishwasher, but only 4 pieces left including 1 fork. The ones before us must have stolen all of the kitchenware items; so much for using the kitchenette. The room smelled strongly of bleach, well, at least something was cleaned?? The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, floor had a big pet stain, fridge was super noisy, chair was a very ripped dumpster reject, and the worst part was it faced the busiest freeway in the Detroit metro area so you couldn't sleep if you wanted to.
The next day, we asked for a different room. This one overall was much better - but still a very uncomfortable bed, noisy fridge and sticky floor.
The hotel staff was only present and available once - you have to wait and call and wait, there is no bell. But, at least they were nice and responsive to requests.
Really the management needs to take responsibility for cleaning and upgrading. Do not recommend!
