科拉爾維爾-愛荷華市美茵斯坦套房酒店(MainStay Suites Coralville - Iowa City)

After a 12 hr freezing cold drive the suite was a most pleasant welcome - warm, spacious and comfortable. Friendly reception staff- Free breakfast much appreciated. Beds very comfortable. Kitchenette well stocked and well designed. A good area for walking the dog without disturbing any guests. Pet rate is fair at $20pnight.

Check in was simple and fast. Room was clean and serviceable. Hotel was quiet until midnight when an adjacent room played loud music until 3AM.

The hotel just needs to be updated the rooms and decor is old. Cleanliness was just the fact of the age of things getting grundy.

Our king bed room had a full kitchen (slightly smaller than average appliances, but perfect for a hotel)! It was furnished with pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls, etc. It even had a dishwasher. We cooked steaks & shrimp with no problems. :) The only con is that the breakfast didnt have much variety, nor did it have much in the way of protein other than eggs and some veggies with a scant amount of sausage mixed in. Otherwise, it was perfect for what we needed. Right behind the Coral Ridge Mall and near Costco. You could easily walk to Texas Roadhouse and a few of the other stores. Located just off of I80.

The faucet in the kitchenette was leaking and needs repair, also the caulking for the bathroom sink was coming away from the wall and needs repair. Otherwise lovely rooms. We all enjoyed our stay.

The staff was amazing and went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed. Disappointed there wasn't a way to disinfect the workout equipment. All the gyms have spray bottles and towels so we can keep the machines germ-free. Thank goodness, the front desk had a spray I could use. It needs to be standard in your Fitness rooms.

The hotel is well located for a shopping trip. It was easy to find. The hotel itself was clean and quiet.

The location was convenient, and my room was spacious and clean. I really liked the in-room kitchen. The only negative was the hot breakfast. It is only offered on weekends and the Saturday I was there no one replenished the hot food, during the time I was eating (6:45a-7:15a), which ran out. The food I had was fine, though. I will go back if I am there on a weekend, but not on a weekday. I like a hot breakfast when I am working.

Over all we were happy there. However, ******* advertised breakfast but that is only. On Saturday and Sun. Coffee and oatmeal available any time.
