Schull港口酒店(Schull Harbour Hotel & Leisure Centre)

I stayed in this hotel in February and had an amazing time. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apar**ent with two kids (aged 2 and 5). The apar**ent is directly beside the hotel and can be accessed by walking through the hotel which was good on rainy days and it also has an elevator. We stayed here for 2 nights and had an amazing time. It was our first time going to a hotel with our 2 year old and she had a ball. They are so accommodating and could not do enough. They were really good and kind to our kids at lunch and dinner and provided colours and pages to colour. We went to the pool each day and it is a lovely area with a sauna for the adults and the person who watches the pool is very good with the kids. I also visited the gym on one day and it had all the equipment I needed and really nice. Our apar**ent was beautiful, the bathroom has a jacuzzi which has coloured lights you can turn on in it which the kids absolutely loved. The beds were so comfy and the apar**ent itself had a little kitchen and loads of room in the bedrooms. It also had a hidden washing machine and capsules so you could keep on top of the washing if you wanted (I didn't and took advantage of the break :)) I was really impressed with the apar**ent, the amenities and the staff and we will be going back for another visit this year. My kids are still asking when they are going back on their holiday to Schull. We also visited the beach which the hotel recommended which was amazing. The pictures will not let me upload of the apar**ent but it was gorgeous and the view was so nice.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights at the start of February. Had booked from their own website to include breakfast and dinner on one evening. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Complimentary parking next to reception. Was checked in by Mike who was prompt,kind and informative. The room was amazing with great views. So clean and comfortable. The breakfast menu was vast and never saw anything like the care and safety taken when it comes to their food. Everything was fresh and individually wrapped. Dinner was great too.Bar area excellent too with views of the city. Overall the hotel was perfect…immaculately clean, with great food and drinks and friendly staff. We will be back!

What a fabulous hotel! My room and bed were HUGE and I had a sea view. The bathroom was decent too. The room has a Nespresso system and in spite of the instructions I only made one coffee successfully! There were two unbelievably delicious cookies too. Breakfast was also overlooking the sea. The eggs Benedict were to die for. Crispy bacon and perfectly cooked eggs. Better than all of this were the staff. I am afraid I didn't get names. The lady on reception went out to buy me a sewing kit as I was too tired/ grumpy after travel to do this myself. The barman was brilliant too, humorous and charming. The two chaps on breakfast duty were polite and efficient. Even the housekeeper asked if I was going to the funeral and wished me well. I didn't have an evening meal but everyone who did said it was great, it certainly looked good.

Stayed here for 3 nights. We had a lovely room with a view of the harbour. Large enough for 2 people. The bathroom was small but adequate The cooked breakfast was really good. The continental breakfast was quite basic We only ate in the restaurant on one night. The food was good but the vegetables were a bit scarce. I had the beer battered Haddock with chips and a small serving of peas. My companion had the roast of the day with carrots mashed and roast potatoes. We had a drink in the bar on Monday night but on Tuesday when we arrived into the bar at about 9.45 we were told they were closed. Apparently there had been no customers for about 45 minutes so the barman had cashed up. I asked what we could do for a drink and was told O'Regans, which is the name of the only pub open in Schull that night. I didn't really want to go out for a drink but had no option. Neither of us was impressed with this. We came back to the hotel about 12 and a staff member was in there so we asked if we could get a drink, it was a no. We would have taken it to our room. This is also the only hotel in Ireland that I have ever heard that there is no residents bar, this was something that I heard staff say every evening. For a hotel in a small village where very little is open I was surprised that the bar was not kept open to give some options to residents

We stayed here last weekend and everything was first class! The food has improved massively since our last stay. Bedroom was lovely and the pool was excellent too! Special mention to Robin at front desk, he gave our little one cookies and made her stay extra special ! She was mad talking about him since we left! Hard to get good staff in hospitality nowadays so hang on to the good ones! Thanks for an amazing night all at Schull Harbour hotel. We have stayed now 4 times and will be back again soon! Me andy friends were attending the leisure centre facilities last summer and it was great. Despite the small size of gym it has everything necessary and the pool sauna and steam combination are fantastic. However after a while we had to leave as a sole member of staff in particular made us feel very unwelcome. She was rude even shouting and swearing at us and made some ridiculous rules that I'm sure only applied to us. How she has a management position at the leisure centre is beyond me as all the younger workers at the check in were far more fair and kind likewise the manager whenever we crossed paths in the hallways.

Amazing hotel with gorgeous amenities. We opted for the deluxe sea view room, view was stunning and light in the morning was fab. Dined here for both dinner and breakfast, fantastic food and the best full Irish i’ve had in a very long time. Don’t skip a visit to the pool, lovely and clean space with low chlorine levels, finished off with a sauna and steam. Staff were very kind and helpful. Excellent stay that exceeded all expectations, will be back.

Myself, my partner and our 10 month old baby stayed in the apar**ents in Schull harbour hotel. A lovely lady named Erin checked us in and walked us over to the apar**ents and brought us up in the lift to ours. We stayed in an amazing 2 bed apar**ent with a view out on the harbour. The apar**ent was very clean and they had everything organised for us for our baby so there was a lovely cot set up and a highchair ready for us when we arrived! We had dinner in the hotel restaurant 2 of the nights and couldn't compliment the food and the staff more. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely nice and very welcoming to us and Max the waiter in particular was very good and went above and beyond. 5 star service ⭐ We used the leisure activities, pool and sauna which are also lovely and the changing rooms were very clean which in other places we've been they haven't been. The location is very ideal for anyone touring west cork. It's just a 1 minute walk to the lovely village and has a lovely hike up to Mount Gabriel which we did and the views were lovely from there. We also drove out to Mizen head which was only about a half hour drive away and Crookhaven beach as well so there was loads to do around Schull as well as in Schull! All in all, a very successful trip to West Cork and will definitely be returning asap!

Called in for lunch - nearly empty - given table and we sat for 25 minutes - barman and 2 waitresses on duty who were not busy joking with each other - seemed to be some issue re who was responsible to serve us without senior oversight. We decided to leave after 25 minutes
