the swimming pool was closed on check in day. better to confirm with front desk in advance if you need to go swimming in the hotel

I got in around 9:30 pm instead of calling me in advance to tell me the air was out in my room they waited till I unloaded our luggage and went to the front desk which I was then told air was out and we have you a room across the street (at the Hampton) so we loaded everything back up and headed across the street. At the Hampton everyone was nice and the room was nice. Until 11 the next morning they called the room stating we had to get out and go back across the street they had that room rented. Called back stating wait Holiday Inn had given our room away the only room the Hampton had available was a single with King bed…..which I paid for a double for there were 2 of us staying in the room. Hampton was very apologetic and unsure what was going on with Holiday Inn, but I’m very disappointed in the Holiday Inn and their professionalism!!! That weekend was stressful

My stay was for 2 days. My door cards would not work after coming back from a long day outside. Was told they get reset if by electronic devices. Electronic devices are everywhere!!! Not bacon for breakfast either day, although trays were labeled with bacon. No a sausage type person. A/C was completely shut off and my room was hot when I checked in. Took quite some time to cool down. Only had about 5 tissues in the box in my bathroom when I checked in. For the amount of money I spent, seems like service would be better.

The room was clean. The hotel was convenient. It was a holiday weekend and a bit busier than usual. There was only 1 front desk clerk and she was slammed with people waiting, phone ringing, taking calls, a computer that locked up and dealing with guests who wanted her to find them another hotel because the pool was closed. I was the second person waiting and it took about 15 minutes for me to get up to the counter to check in. The clerk was very professional throughout all of her interactions, but she should not have been alone. I returned to the front desk later to get another set of towels, and again later for sodas, and each time she was on lengthy phone calls and was still by herself, taking a few minutes to help me. We stayed one night, and didnt get much sleep because whoever was directly above us had kids jumping off the bed and thumping our ceiling until well after midnight. Not one of our best hotel experiences recently.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. They had computer issues that left all people with paid reservations in their lobby unable to check in for several hours. No manager arrived to begin trying to help for over an hour. The desk clerk actually hid in a back office for over 30mins without giving any of us any sort of update. Upon finally getting into a room I was told that all cable and Wi-Fi services were down. Unless you want to stare at four walls for hours while the staff shrugs their shoulders......go elsewhere.

Upon initial check-in, I was told that the system was down and I was asked to delay my check-in by a half hour or so. We had numerous things to do in the Corsicana area, so we decided to accept the first delay. In the meantime we got the opportunity to do the first item on our list of things to do. When I came back about an hour later, was told the system was still down and to check-in in about an hour. We, me and my wife, did not accept the brush off but decided to go to the dining room to wait. After about 3 hours we decided to go up to the desk and see what my options were we given a substitute room. The room was too close to the elevator and kept my wife awake. So you can see that my experience was not good.

We had dead bugs in every corner, then at night more bugs came out. We paid for room with jetted tub it didn’t work. The pool was closed. Our room was by outside door that people used to come in and out you’ll get to sleep then door would slam. Very disappointed in this hotel. I told front desk did knock 20 percent off the room. Still didn’t feel like that was enough.

The exterior actually looked deserted because of lack of maintenance! The lobby and common area were only slightly better. Not worthy of the brand.

There were toenails on the bed and floor, wasn’t clean, sticky substance on the desk and an old sock behind the pillow and on the floor behind the chair, absolutely disgusting!
