桑翁法納貝海灘(Sunwing Fanabe Beach)

A estadia no hotel foi boa. As pessoas que trabalham lá são muito atenciosas. A limpeza deixa a desejar. A comida foi péssima escolha. Passamos duas semanas nesse hotel. Eu, meu esposo e minha filha. Uma semana colocamos tudo incluído e nos arrependemos muito. O café da manhã eles não trocam nada, bem os tipos de pães, mas tudo bem só uma semana da pra aguentar. O almoço infelizmente eles juntam com queijos , salames e tudo que sobra do café da manhã. E repetem muito a comida do almoço. Mas uma semana a gente fez um esforço. A hora do snack sempre esperado pelas crianças, todos os dias a mesma coisa. Só das do almoço, sobras do café da manhã, e alguns chips com cachorro quente. O jantar é desesperador, só mesmo quem viaja todo tempo com tudo incluído e está acostumado com a comida de baixo nível. Teve a noite asiática e peguei um sushi pra comer que nunca vi na vida, pensei que fosse brincadeira. Sobremesa nunca tive coragem de comer porque não pareciam serem frescas. Eu e minha família além de pagarmos super caro para tudo incluído uma semana ainda tivemos que almoçar e jantar fora alguns dias porque a comida estava desesperadamente ruim. Não sei qual o nível de comida essas pessoas estão acostumadas a comer porque aceitam o nível. Mas por esse dinheiro de alimentação você consegue comer muito bem café da manhã, almoço e jantar em qualquer restaurante no calçadão da praia. Muito caro para nenhuma qualidade na comida. Nos arrependemos demais!!!! Nunca mais!!! Não recomendamos de jeito nenhum!!! Ficamos do dia 3 de agosto/2023 ao dia 17 de agosto/2023. Quarto 247.

1. Non Smoking Hotel - Brilliant and a massive selling point for us. Saw one guy try to smoke in the outside bar and the staff were straight over to stop him 2. Sunbeds - There are loads but could probably still do with a few more for the amount of people there in July. The poolside ones are gone by 8am but if you're not fussy where, you can still get sunbeds ay 930/10. Then again in the afternoon once the morning people start to head off. The pool-guy comes round at about 915 and removes towels on empty beds. Most people reserve all their sunbeds and leave one person there to stop the guy taking the towels. Still a better system than other hotels than have a sunbed race each morning, 3. Food & Drink - Mostly excellent. Sometimes a bit slow in putting food out so some empty trays. Lots of nice fish and chicken. Beef very chewy. Lovely chips. Paella most days. Pizza everyday which was ok but could be nicer. All-inclusive has snacks (burgers, chips, pizza) available all afternoon too. Ice-Cream included too at all times. Drinks available at the bar, or self-service in the restaurant. Not all cocktails included in self-service but about 10 are. Cava included too. Beer was San Miguel. 4. Location - Brilliant. Outside the hotel and turn right - there is a good-sized supermarket about 30s walk. Outside hotel and straight ahead - the promenade is about a 2min walk. Turn right on the prom and go down a level to the beach for the smaller bars/restaurants. Highly recommend Limoncello for food and Daniel's Drinks for drinks. Left on Promenade takes you to loads more shops/restaurants. McDonald's is less than 10min. Puerto Colon Marina is about 15-20 min walk and all the whale/dolphin boat go from here. 5. Rooms - We had a Pool View Studio on 5th floor. Was very nice though maybe a little small for us all (2 adults, 2 children - 10 and 13) There is a Royal Suite which is meant to be a bit bigger. We had a double bed, then a room divider and 2 sofa-beds in the living area which didn't leave room for much else though there were cupboards, hob and a microwave. Not very much storage for clothes but we managed. 6. Pool - Decent size. Balls and inflatables allowed which is great. Not much use if you fancy a relaxing swim, but kids loved it which is the main thing. Water aerobics and water polo on each day. 7. Clientele - Huge mixture of Scandinavian, German, Spanish, Irish, Scottish, English. As usual, the British let it down a bit - a lot of 'Geordie Shore' type and heavily tattooed people. Good few men in football tops, mostly Rangers tops. (is there even an excuse for a grown man to wear a football top, when not at an actual match????) 8. Kids club - Mostly aimed towards younger kids. The 'Teens Lounge' was age 8 upwards and was mostly age 8-11. Other mini-sports and kids disco were all aimed at even younger. A Jet2 package holiday booked last minute which gave us a great price. Picked this hotel due to the location and previous TA reviews. A fifth floor studio room was allocated to us. A good space to include a bedroom, large balcony and lounge area with a well equipped kitchen area. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff in the hotel were friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The location of the hotel is approx five minutes to the beach and numerous restaurants and bars. Why only four stars? The food was very average at best for breakfast. There was plenty on offer but the quality left a lot to be desired. This was the only downside.

Booked this one due to location as last year we were too far from the main *****. Plenty of room for our family of 4, fancy lights in wardrobe, walk in shower and plenty of counter space. Only suggestion would be a dressing table area and a few drawers in the bedroom. Air con wasn’t the best could be more of a problem in June and July. Room was located on the first floor with a partial sea view and a large balcony that got the afternoon sun. Great soundproofing as didn’t hear any street noise or the other guests. Had booked b & b but did find breakfast a few days was quite cold. Lovely outside seating area under a pergola. Pool area lovely and clean and no problem getting a sun lounger. Activities provided included everyone that wanted to take part and not just all inclusive guests. Park area quite small for my 5 and 10 year old but did enjoy the outside pool tables. 1st night we couldn’t get the safe to work, but when we informed reception the next day it was quickly sorted. Staff we saw were always friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

Lovely hotel, perfect location with amazing facilities and so clean. Delicious, fresh breakfast served daily from 7.30-10.30, staff work very hard to present everything you could possibly want. Pool area is spotless with a life guard on hand. Daily fun activities for all inc. Water aerobics and polo which my kids loved. Friendly entertainment team are always smiling. Evening show is a bit repetitive, same singers, although talented, gets a bit samey each night with a different theme. The rooms are spotless and big enough for a family of four. Clean bathroom, huge comfy bed and cleaned daily should you want it. Location is perfect too, 2 mins walk to beach promenade and lovely restaurants and bars. Reception staff are so knowledgeable amd helpful, ordering taxis, recommendations for evening meals and bus times. Couldn't fault it, perfect family hotel

We stayed at the end of March with our 8-year old daughter. We loved the hotel. It’s in a great location close to the beach and restaurants/cafes with a small supermarket on site too. The studio rooms are spacious, modern and more like 4-5 stars with large bathrooms and comfortable beds. The pool is well sheltered from the wind and always warm enough. Really impressed by the running of the hotel. Staff were excellent. Professional, helpful and responsive. Everything is cleaned constantly. We only had breakfast and it was busy but the food was good with lots of choice and it was run really well. The guests are majority Scandinavian but we were fine with that and the activities are still delivered in English. A big shout out to the entertainment group who perform shows nearly every night - from ABBA to a brilliant, quirky musical version of Cinderella. They are awesome and spend time talking to the kids after the shows which is really appreciated! Also the evening bar staff who serve the quickest cocktails ever when it’s busy! I’d say it’s a great hotel for families with young kids especially and it’s less built-up than resorts like Playa de las Americas but still with plenty of amenities nearby. Thanks to the staff for giving us a great holiday.

Great Hotel and very clean - seen last comment about pool closed for an hour for cleaning - but I see this as a positive to how clean and tidy the hotel is. Its not the hotels fault if the pool needs cleaned!!. Great stock if ice cream for kids but must agree that sometimes the food is alittle cold. Also waiting on stocks of cups and bowls and spoons at busy times ... come on Sunwing just buy more!!! Selection of food varieties was okay but as previous comments alittle salty for my liking Activities for Kids was good, FIFA tournaments enjoyable maybe a few more pool activities during the day would not be a bad thing!!! Overall very enjoyable, very clean, clean towels everyday was very good and found the staff very friendly
