Was told the place is under new management. You pay for what you get. On arrival, we were so confused as the reception was empty, only to find out we had to walk down the road to another hotel reception just to check in! (This needs to be sorted) we were told to wait an hour and a half whilst the room was cleaned as it still wasn’t ready. Looks like the place is still undergoing refurbishment. The apar**ents are okay(ish). Not modern (which isn’t a problem). The only problems in the apar**ent really were the fact that the water constantly run out. There was only ever enough hot water for one person. The beds were very uncomfortable and thin mattresses, and only one VERY thin pillow per bed. Requested extra pillow but nothing was done. When windy, the front door and window kept banging loudly (so if you get room 11 on the ground floor I would suggest declining) On checkout, approached the reception, the lady was on the phone but asked if she could assist me - so I asked for a taxi to be called, for the lady to say she was speaking to a customer and to wait to see if she can get one. Not very professional in my opinion. The location is okay, maybe a 15/20 minute walk to the centre. Was told the pool is now heated, although couldn’t tell the difference. Don’t trust the pictures you see online as it is completely different. My best advice would be to spend that bit of extra money - and get yourself somewhere decent that would be closer to the town with better amenities.
