君王酒店(Lords of the Manor)

Stunning hotel in beautiful Upper Slaughter, with attentive staff - nothing was too much trouble. On arrival, they were out of the door to collect our bags before I’d even got out of the car! It was the perfect balance between feeling looked after, without being intrusive. We dined in the Atrium which was absolutely outstanding. We have eaten in many Michelin star restaurants over the years and this tasting menu was in a league of its own, with the accompanying wine flight - if a Michelin star does not head your way very soon, it’s truly an injustice! We are planning on another visit in the summer months to try the menu again, when the seasons change. Very much looking forward to it!

This is truly a treat to stay at! The room was absolutely beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to be comfortable including towels that were big and fluffy enough to wrap around you. The staff were welcoming for our 11pm later rival. The breakfast buffet in the morning was beautiful and the scones and clotted cream were perfect! I can't say enough good about the manor and the people that work there. The grounds and gardens are incredible and in full Bloom with the Fall colors. I wish I could have stayed longer.

My sister and I are doing a trip around the UK, and this was our favourite property that we stayed - we wished we would have book more nights. Thank you for a wonderful memorable stay, with friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast in the morning was also superb, I would definitely recommend this property to friends and hope to visit again. Christy

The perfect quintessentially English Country House experience. Attentive and friendly staff, wonderful food and spacious accommodation. Not our first time as guests and hopefully not our last. A perfect opportunity to "disconnect" and just enjoy....
