斯特拉馬里斯酒店(Stella Maris Hotel)

Ein sehr schönes und gutes Hotel in traumhafter Lage. Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig. Die Betten bequem. Das Restaurant inkl. Frühstück und angeschlossenem Pub von hoher Qualität. Das Personal ist freundlich, zuvorkommend und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Extra erwähnen möchte ich hier die Dame mit den den schottischen Wurzeln im Frühstücksservice und den Chef des Hauses, welcher einen auf Anfrage auch sehr gut in Bezug auf irischen Whiskey berät. Top! Alles im ganzen Haus ist sehr schön im viktorianischen Stil dekoriert und eingerichtet. Man spürt die Geschichte des Hotels, welches eine unglaubliche Aura ausstrahlt. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen und ist eine absolute Empfehlung! Wir werden bei Gelegenheit gerne wiederkommen.

Ambiance très familiale et chaleureuse sans prétention. Excellente localisation. Personnel aux petits soins. Concert de musique celtique certains soirs ( très bon niveau). Nourriture de qualité. Belle balade vers les falaises de Kilkee moins fameuses que celles de Moher mais bien moins envahies par les touristes. On reviendrait bien vilontiers

Ein wenig in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Trotzdem sehr schön in wunderschöner Lage an der Strandpromenade. Zimmer sind groß und sauber, das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich und das Essen sehr lecker. Kostenlose öffentliche Parkplätze sind in direkter Umgebung vorhanden.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Stella Maris! The hotel is in a very central location and very close to the beach. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.The food was delicious too. We will be back for sure and look forward to our next stay!

Found a chewed up chewing gum stuck to the inside of my water glass. Was met with brief apology from waitress and then told that it was stuck to a lemon inside the wtaer jug…. Confused as to how it would be stuck to a fresh lemon. My boyfriend was brought behind the bar and showed that the lemons and limes were laying in the bottom of a sink, which in my opinion is disgusting in itself nevermind the fact there was chewing gum at the bottom of my glass. Then spoke to a supervisor/manager and only got a pint of guinness deducted from the bill. Apalled. Food was average. One waitress in particular was lovely but definitely wouldnt go back.

Had a super lunch in the Stella Maris, the tempura prawns were superb and served with home made mayo, equalled by a perfectly cooked whole seabass, fish and ships was a big hit with the kids. Service was excellent, attentive, efficient, great sense of humour and appreciative of our business , highly recommend

Restruant review only. We decided to try the Stella Maris for dinner on St Paddys Day wow what a mistake. we were in kilkee for the weekend. We had fish and chips a eye watering 21 euro !! Roast pork a even more savage 22.50 !! Where do I begin Fish more like two small Donegal Catch fillets you know the ones I mean plus a plate full of frozen chips not a bit of veg in sight no sign of a side salad incredible. Now for the fab pork two slices of fatty meat with lots of stuffing not a spud in sight but I did get somthing resembeling a small bowl of veg. If we are being serious about attracting visitors in times like this surely this is not good enough. My only regret is I did not complain at the time but it was very hard to attract staffs attention I am still waiting on two coffees !!! Needless to say we will not not return

I stayed at the Stella Maris on a work trip with a large group. The staff at Stella Maris couldn’t be more accommodating of us and we all had a fabulous stay. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and I slept very well on every night of my week-long stay. The food served in the restaurant was great - plenty of variety and all of very high quality. The kitchen dealt extremely well with our big group of 20 with great food and quick service. The pub also has a great vibe and even had some local spirits which we all enjoyed. Thank you to all the staff at the Stella Maris - fabulous stay had by all and we hope to be back soon!

There are ample areas to park nearby and the charming streets are great for a walk before or after dinner. The beach is just around the corner but the dining room view is blocked by hedges. The curry is a touch sweet but generously portioned. The rest of our meals were filling but similarly lacking seasoning. Still we did enjoy a warm, relaxed dinner in a cozy (somewhat rumpled/scruffy) setting that has an authentic charm. We did not stay the night at the hotel but it looked welcoming.
