克隆梅爾塔爾伯特酒店(Talbot Hotel Clonmel)

Hotel is verouderd. Het restaurant is onderbemand en personeel wordt getraind om naar de grond te kijken. 2 keer was gedaan, 2de keer kreeg ik de helft niet terug. Na herhaaldelijk afgewimpeld te worden kwam de manager met de ontbrekende stukken af en een excuus dat de wasserij het net binnengebracht had. Recht tegenover is een woonwagenpark met honden die de hele nacht blaffen. Kamers zijn te warm. Er is niet veel andere keuze in de regio, maar zeker geen aanrader.

La habitación olía a tabaco, las sábanas y almuhadas olían mal. El desayuno muy pobre para un hotel de 4 estrellas y el.precio.que pagas por la habitación. El hotel en general se ve viejo.

Clean and modern hotel. Reception and gym staff were superb. Gym was very good with absolute top-of-the-range equipment - specifically two Concept 2 Rowers and one of each of the Watt Bike models. One C2 was out of batteries but both were immaculately clean and well serviced (185 Max DF for those who know) - as were both WattBikes. Room was good with very good shower although hot water needs to be a little hotter for a safe wet shave. Large bed was firm and comfortable. Food was the only thing that let it down. Poor choice of vegetarian options and breakfast was limited (not even porridge) and quality not great (dry). Because of the gym, we would DEFINITELY stay again - although eat elsewhere for meals and breakfast.

Everything was great the food was outstanding however the waiting staff on Saturday & Sunday evening let the team down Monday evening different staff & a different story top class .

5 stars for this hotel couldn’t find better. Staff food everything top class. Rooms are being updated but still lovely clean .

Another 4 star hotel which is really a refugee centre. No fridge available for the room, just like the Radisson in Limerick. Rooms habe no ac, which is becoming an issue with warming and 26° temperatures outside. Few paying guests. Refugees sitting outside the hotel entrance in pyjamas smoking in the mornings. Ugh. Bar not so bad, locals visiting helps give a bit of atmosphere. The upgrade programme seems to have stalled, unsurprisingly. Its just not a good fit, it can't be a desirable 4 star destination and an emergency accommodation centre at the same time. It's unfair on paying guests.

Good points - bed was comfortable, shower very hot and powerful, excellent internet speed. Bad points - no tea or coffee making facilities in room, windows open a crack, and room is very very hot. Bathroom floor tiles loose/broken. Toilet struggling to flush and sewage smell in bathroom. Dusty everything! All furniture old and marked, marked carpets. Television didn’t work! Remote control buttons had missing backs, so batteries just fell out. Couldn’t watch any tv! Tv is hooked up to a little internet thing, that didn’t work either. All just a bit old and tired and need a good clean. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Central to a few interesting places to visit. Areas for improvement/consideration: fridge in the room air-conditioner

Everything was good. The staff was excellent. The rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the breakfast.
