Made the booking and was told will get the checkin details on the morning of the stay didn’t get anything then at 3pm I contacted them they said I need to pay a deposit of £50 by bank transfer to a personal bank account which I was not very comfortable with however I made the payment and sent them a message to say this has been paid still didn’t get the checkin details for another 2+ hours. I was travelling from Dewsbury to Coventry my plan was to checkin get ready and then travel to London however because of the delay in receiving the checkin details I didn’t have enough time to checkin before I went to london as I had a reservation there so I had to get changed in the car which was very inconvenient. however after I made the deposit payment and they sent me the checkin details they told me that the remote has been stolen so we were unable to watch any tv and that they had ordered a new one but it hasn’t been delivered yet. they said they just letting us know about this incase we want to cancel, really ? now they tell us this when we have no other options why couldn’t they tell us before taking the deposit payment clearly she was aware of this as she ordered a new one. this is so unprofessional We returned from london early hours of the morning and the plan was to sleep and then go out for the day and return to the apartment for another night however early hours of the around 8am we could hear very loud drilling coming from the room next door it was so loud it felt like the drilling was in our room. After about an hour of the constant drilling and is being unable to sleep my partner decided to call the property manager. The manger was so rude and abrupt and told us that it wasn’t early and that legally they are aloud to be caring out work at that time of the morning, she then denied that it was anything to do with their property and she can’t do anything about it however my partner checked and their was a big sign with sky city apartments on it when he told her this she was extremely argumentative and unprofessional. she then started to tell us it’s nothing to do with and starting going in to how it’s with contractors and tenders did she think we are stupid and we don’t know how things work was she trying to make us feel stupid and dumb ? my partner said to her that he is a quantity surveyor by profession and she doesn’t need to explain this. They continued to carry on with the work even after we requested a few hours of quiet time so we could get some sleep on top of this there was a cleaner in one of the other rooms who was vacuuming and banging the vacuum against the walls and was so noisy. The plans we had for the day were ruined because we spent all day trying to get some sleep and after this we was due to stay one more night but we were so dissatisfied with they stay we decided to check out early as we didn’t want another sleepless night. This was my worst experience ever in any hotel or apartment and will not stay there again and will be
