It's been years since I stayed at a Motor Inn. I was surprised and impressed by how well appointed my room was. The bed was comfortable, there was a nice shower and tub and having a small fridge and microwave was a bonus. I didn't go to the York House Diner, the attached restaurant this time but I hear they make a very good breakfast. I'm sure I will be staying again.

The room was clean and bright, the hotel is well maintained. I have stayed at more expensive hotels that were not as nice. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the sheets are quality high thread count that are very nice to sleep in. The fresh clean smell when I first entered the room was very welcoming, staff there must have aired out the room before I arrived.

The online photos of the room are good from far but far from good.
The room was smoked in and then sprayed with a very harsh chemical to eliminate the odour - I’m not sure what was worse.
Two of the arm chairs were filthy and there was no shade on the single light bulb.
Outside, there was a lot of noise from adjacent residents and the area is high traffic for the homeless.
The front desk staff also said that the deadbolt key is not available for customers.

The stay was uneventful,no issues. I was a little nervous after driving near by and seeing the area. I checked in late as i was attending an event. I was nervous about the dead bolt lock not working on my door. The overall condition of my room was okay...exterior looked dated and rough.

The first room we got was terrible. The pull out bed had no sheets and blanket was all crunched up in the pullout. Obviously it wasn’t cleaned from last stay. So we went to the office and the lady gave us a new room with upgrades with no extra cost. But that room’s sink did not drain at all. So we had to talk to the office again. The lady was sorry and gave us another room. The third room was functional. Overall, the motel was ok. You get what you paid for. Area wasn’t that great. Bunch of homeless people staying nearby.

staff very helpful, easy to get to room, easy access to parking, close to restaurants and quiet.
The heating appliance was not maintained to work automatically either it was on until uncomfortably hot and had to be turned off then when room got cold turned on repeating the cycle about every two hours during the night

The carpet was dirty with stains, there was a hole in the ceiling, the floors were freezing.
The reception employee was very nice, very helpful.
