They are only considered pet friendly if you don’t count cats as pets. We were turned away after 20 hours of driving and having our reservation for days because they don’t allow cats despite advertising as “pet friendly.” You have to read reeeaaaalllly deep into the fine print to find any notes about them being dogs only, and it’s only mentioned briefly in one place. The staff was incredibly unhelpful when we got there and discovered this, literally sat down in the lobby and cried and the staff was cold and unhelpful. They didn’t even recommend where else to go or apologize, they were just defensive. They also told us they could maybe have the manager refund us tomorrow, but we couldn’t stay, so we may be out for multiple nights at a hotel that turned us away.
If you are going to have such a restrictive pet policy you need to make this VERY CLEAR, not a random side note at the bottom of a very long page am inst other details. You easily could send out an auto email about it post booking so people don’t show up shocked.
Would never stay here. If they refund me, I will update my review to reflect that.
