巴克利汽車旅館(Barkly Motorlodge)

This motel complex also has an adjoining Chinese restaurant, and it's of a very good quality, better than a few of the other Chinese restaurants in Ballarat that I've tried. The rooms are nice and clean and the check-in is very convenient. Location is right in the center of Ballarat, so close to basically everything. Staff are enormously helpful.

Rooms were not as pictured. Didn’t appear to be maintained or cleaned very well. Soap from previous guest still in shower. Glasses dirty. Would not stay here again

ok cheap place to stay. close to shops and eating places. we were lucky enough to be given a larger room with a spa bath. unfortunately the shower was in the bath and this was a little awkward for us older travellers. our room was spacious. had table and chairs and a couch. the room was at the far end of the building overlooking a fairly busy intersection. it was noisy at night

Very comfortable and warm stay during a very cold, wintry few days in Ballarat. I can recommend to all travelers as a clean, friendly and comfortable stay

When we arrived for check in the women behind the counter was on her mobile phone talking in Chinese to a friend. I had to write my name on a piece of paper so she could look up my booking so she didn’t have to interrupt her phone call. She didn’t speak a word to me and I had to help myself and work out everything about the Motel and Ballarat. The room was extremely noisy as you can hear the next room especially when plumbing is being used and all road noise from outside YES every car, truck and motorbike. I don’t know how many stars this is but I would rate it .01 and will never stay there again or will tell others to stay away. Great location to city centre and the room was clean but DONT pay anymore than $5 a night it is that BAD.

Easy check in, very friendly & helpful. Safe. Close to main shopping area and supermarkets.

Great sleep comfortable bed, room was quiet lovely hot shower in the morning. Staff were very friendly and very accommodating as we arrived late
