英格蘭大門馬車屋酒店(England's Gate and Coachhouse)

Booked the suite at a good price. Got the one right next to the road, which wasn't a problem as the road wasn't busy.

The hotel stay was what was being sold, all very good / excellent. The restaurant the evening was very good, the service was a little slow ( slightly understaffed, and busy evening), the food was excellent with generous portions. The choice for drink was very good too.

Basic but clean ,comfortable could have done with a rug as the tiled floor was cold to walk on. Otherwise ok for a few nights

Absolutely gorgeous stay. Such a stunning place in a beautiful location. The bed was comfy, shower great and service levels were first rate. So much choice at breakfast!

The premises were pleasant, recently refurbished, but a bit stuffy and the television didn’t work! The breakfast was a real disappointment. It was “get it yourself” with no supervision. The produce was prepackaged, and really wasn’t a Continental breakfast. Croissants in wrappers, no fresh meat, cheese or rolls. No filter coffee. A bit of effort could have made something special.

A last minute booking for a business trip. I can not recommend this place highly enough. Fantastic clean room, a great shower and a comfortable bed, all situated next to a great pub that serves great food, great beer complimented by super friendly efficient staff. 5 massive stars, This will be the only place I will stay in this area from now on

Being quite remote is an advantage and a disadvantage, it’s a local pub for local people but the staff make you feel welcome. There was not terrestrial tv in the room so you have to log into one of your streaming services, fine if you have them but no good for news and live programs. Our door key fitted the main door as well as our door, this made us think that this may mean the other keys may also fit our door? Continental breakfast is in the kitchen type area, and seems well stocked, I hope you get along with the other guests as there is nowhere to hide over breakfast.
