柯克代爾酒店(Kirkdale Hotel)

The hotel was at a good location. Staff was very helpful and professional and provided excellent service.

全体的に設備は古めです。隅々まで清掃されてはいませんし故障している場所も色々あります。しかし、逆にそれがいいという人もいるかもしれないので全てが悪いとは言いきれません。 近くに歴史がありそうな教会があるので見に行く価値はあります。朝食は普通なのかな？

The hotel was an ok cosy spot close walking distance to train station, place was clean that i can say but in regards to breakfast which was included in stay i was told it starts at 8:30am on a weekend and which I was told the day before it starts at 7:30am so they need to make up their mind and dont work off feelings if they're up to it the morning I'd to go out and purchase McDonald's since my train departs at 8:30am otherwise from.that all else was ok

I had a downstairs room which was handy as I had a problem with my leg & although I would have managed the stairs it saved me having too. Room was not ready until 14.35 but I spent an hour in the lounge on the internet so for me that was not a problem & having forgot that many had said there was no internet in the rooms later when I tried it I got on without any problem. The whole place though does smell of smoking inc my room I can live with it but it is supposed to be no smoking maybe they should hit those who do with an extra charge for doing so. Breakfast was also better than I had expected there was for those who wanted it Sausage, Egg, Beans & toast. I don't really have much so just the toast was OK for me. The place has seen better days & needs a facelift & at £95.00 it was certainly overpriced for the location. Not a place I would return to that's for sure

To start receptionist was not helpfully, room was disgusting with damp on the walls, broken furniture, poo staines and sick on the walls in the bathroom, mould in the shower, sick down the side of the divan bed. Service was apporling - no choice in breakfast was just given toast with 2 eggs which was swimming in fat. Was not impressed to say the least and will definitely not going back. No idea how this got a 3 star rating.

After a 2 hour journey to the property booked through *********** we arrived at 5pm. The guy on reception could not understand us. The hotel smelt of smoke and damp. He told us his colleague had given our room to someone else even though we booked it. We were offered a room with a double bed and a single bed but the toilet was broken. There were used tissues in the bin and the room was very dirty with sticky dirty carpets. The curtain was hanging off the pole. We were given a toilet to use down the hall in an empty single room. Breakfast was included but we were not told what time breakfast was but another person staying there told us it consisted of a slice of toast and a cup of tea. We was offered a refund after we complained but there was nowhere else to stay at short notice so we had no choice but to stay there. I would rather sleep in a prison, at least it would be clean. *********** should not advertise this property on their site.

It was a nightmare. I was meant to stay for two days but the deplorable conditions of the hotel forced me to leave after just one night. They refused to give me a refund. The rooms are filthy, the service is terrible. Rooms are dumpy and stuffy. I will never recommend it.
