鮑勃鄉村民宿(Casa Bob)

Es un espacio con mucho encanto. Se puede aparcar en una plaza que está muy cerquita. La habitación era amplia y acogedora y el colchón una maravilla. Descansamos muy bien las dos noches. Además en la planta de arriba hay una pequeña cocina (café e infusiones son un detalle de la casa) con un salón y dos terrazas con unas vistas preciosas (que no pudimos disfrutar por el mal tiempo). Fue la casa del médico y ese detalle lo convierte en parte de la historia de Cuevas de San Marcos. Mari Ángeles fue muy atenta y agradable desde el principio. Nos habló de rutas y pueblos para visitar por los alrededores. Esa cercanía y calidez se agradece siempre, en relación al trato impersonal de otro tipo de alojamientos. En resumen, una experiencia súper recomendable.

Ha sido una estancia muy agradable, la habitación era grande y acogedora y el colchón, una maravilla. Además en el piso de arriba había un salón y una pequeña cocina que también pudimos usar. Tienes además café e infusiones a tu disposición . Las vistas, espectaculares desde la dos terrazas que hay en la planta superior (aunque coincidió mal tiempo y no pudimos disfrutarlas). Además es una casa con historia, fue la antigua casa del médico y eso también le da encanto, además está decorada con muy buen gusto. Mari Ángeles es encantadora, nos trató con mucha cercanía desde el primer momento, fue muy atenta y además nos informó muy bien sobre rutas y pueblos que visitar por los alrededores. Siempre se agradece la calidez frente al trato impersonal que sueles encontrar en otro tipo de alojamientos. Muy cerquita hay una plaza donde se puede aparcar y en el pueblo se puede comer muy bien por buen precio. Súper recomendable.

Hostal estupendo; todo muy limpió; camas cómodas ; con una zona de terraza muy acogedora y bonitas vistas al pueblo y el monte ;hostal céntrico y cerca de bonitas rutas de senderismo!! la dueña María Ángeles muy atenta ; cercana !! Repetiré seguro!!

A new chapter at Casa Bob has begun. We arrived there two weeks into the new ownership of Ivan and Marie and found the warm friendly homely feeling had continued from Bob and Nina. The new Spanish owners Ivan and Marie, speak really good English, are friendly and welcoming, made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. they have a can do attitude and are only to happy to help and assist when ever needed.

I spent a couple of days with Nina and Bob in their lovely guesthouse. Comfortable bed, great powerful shower, good breakfast, exactly made as requested. Although it was October, I could really enjoy the sun on the rooftop where I could use one of the sunbeds. During my stay I could take coffee and tea as much as I liked and drinks from the so called Honesty Bar. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone who likes an authentic Spanish village, with restaurants at walking distance and beaches, mountains and beautiful cities like Granada, Malaga, Cordoba and Sevilla at more or less an hour driving distance.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at Casa Bob where we had a fantastic stay. Bob and Nina are great hosts and very welcoming, nothing was a problem and they are genuinely nice people. The small town had everything we needed and was great for exploring the area. Breakfast was varied and lovely, freshly prepared each morning at a time of our choice. The air-conditioned room was perfect with a smart TV and a good shower. We particularly enjoyed a drink in the evening on the roof terraces and the views. Thank you for all your help and invaluable local knowledge, we had a great time.....we'll definitely be back!

Myself and my partner visited the village for a friends 60th birthday and what a great welcome we received from Nina and Bob. In all honesty, I was expecting the usual 'do this, do that' welcome but we were pleasantly surprised for a warm and friendly hello. Thanks guys for being so helpful and making everything so clear. We only stayed a short stay but were made to feel very welcome the whole trip. Moreover, every effort was made to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Bob was hugely informative and couldn't do enough to help us. I really must say that this was hospitality at its finest. Casa Bob really went above and beyond for us. The service was fantastic and Nina made us a granola breakfast which was absolutely to my liking. Fresh OJ and coffee accompanied with some great hosting. The mini bar upstairs was always well stocked and the standards of the rooms were impeccable. The themed rooms were a nice touch too. Nina and Bob, thanks so much for looking after us, it really made a difference to our short getaway. We'll be back Much love Sally & Dom

Where to start? Bob and Nina are the perfect hosts nothing you ask is too much trouble for them. This is the real Spain. Lovely guest house over 4 floors. Rooms very clean with air com. Great base for exploring of Andalucia. You will need a car to visit all the local and not so local areas for example Granada an Seville. Any information you require is available from Bob. If you have mobility problems have a word with Bob, the streets can be steep. Drink plenty of water as this is not the coast and can be very hot indeed. Perfect for chilling and relaxing bring a book or 2, or read one of the many on offer on the premises. There are plenty of eateries and tavernas to try and get in the spirit of true life in Spain.

This place is lovely. The people are friendly, helpful and inviting. We were made welcome with a cuppa (which is always a good start to a holiday if you ask me). It was truly like being at home (but with better weather). We can not recommend Casa Bob enough. We tried a few of the breakfasts on our trip and we can say they were all lovely, well cooked and filling (very filling). They cater for everyone, families, solo travellers, couples, friends and business.😀 The village is lovely and there are some lovely walks around the area. Shortly after we arrived we received some bad news and Bob and Nina were brilliant. Nina sorted everything out for us (she was a god send and we can't thank her enough)
