Their food service has been shut down since Covid. It would have been nice to know before we booked, as we had planned on dining and utilizing their room service.
In the morning, they put out cellophane wrapped cold, untoasted bagels, with no toaster available.
The staff was very courtesy and professional.

Their ad on ******* was totally misleading. There is no iron gate to big house on a hill. The restaurant and bar have been closed for years. The breakfast was stale, cold bagels, apples and oranges. Looks like they just kept putting out what ever was left over from the previous day. The carpets were filthy.

everything was good at my stay , although my last day i had to check out at 11 am.
At 10:00 am i was lready being harrased to leave, i drove from north caroline and it was very uncomfortable to be treated this way on my first visit to CT. Very upset and was also thinking to stay one more night with my younger childre but the way they kept nocking on my door was very uncomfortable when i still had a few mins left.
I do not recommend this place specially if you have children

Pleasant stay overall. Attentive staff. Would like to have seen a recycling bin, a map of amenities like vending, ice, workout room. To conserve energy wanted to open windows and turn off A/C but left had no screen and the right had major holes. Very convenient to grocery and liquor stores and some restaurants. Meager offering for breakfast items; would add juices, more proteins, and maybe yogurt. Or just not offer breakfast.

Everything was very good about the room and stay, although saying it includes breakfast is a stretch. However, the only issue was the Wi-Fi. It was too slow for me to get any work done. I had to use my phone.

Property is outdated, bathroom in all rooms was noisy upon flushing. You could hear other residents talking in their room. Staff not friendly.

The wifi at the hotel did not work. There was no hot hot either when I showered in the morning . The bed was comfy but I would not stay here again. And the hotel looks very very old as well.

Our room smelled like old cigarette smoke, and was really bare. No conditioner in the room, even though there was shampoo. Really slow check-in process. High prices for the quality.

Mary Elizabeth was extremely helpful and the perfect front desk rep. The room was spotless, but needed an upgrade. I would definitely stay here again when in Danbury.
