On the pricier side, but worth it. It's wonderful; staff, diving options, location, massages, the design of the resort, and the room/house you stay in, all of it.

The property itself is absolutely stunning and so well maintained, staff are all extremely friendly and helpful but not in your face :) I could just keep going on about the gardens…love love love! The environment is definitely well considered with recycling efforts evident in many ways. The resort also has a program that provides food for underprivileged kids, loved visiting the soup kitchen and seeing how happy and well looked after the children are. The whale shark tour, WOW, such an amazing experience, definitely worth the early get up and travel time. Lots of options food wise, service is great, very personal. Owners seem really lovely and are up for a chat and helpful hints. The resort is quite remote but a lovely place to chill out and go for day trips, snorkel, dive etc. A very happy/chilled piece of paradise. Ohhhh, nearly forgot the day spa!!!! Stunning and fabulous hot rock massage, book in for sure.

Traumhotel - sehr grosszügige Zimmer / Villas, wunderschöne Gartenanlage, hervorragendes Essen und top Pools. Mitarbeitende sind jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Meer baden ist schwierig, da Steine und oft Wellen. Strand ist aber sehr schön.

We were in Atmosphere for the third time. If that does not tell the story, here are some details: Amazing staff - in the reception area as well as in the restaurant/bar. We were very happy to see many of the faces we had seen during our last stay (Dec. 19/Jan. 20 - so just before the pandemic hit) again. The owners obviously take good care of their staff. Food was great, the somewhat limited choice on the menu (when you stay longer) is always compensated by several specials of the day (for lunch as well as dinner). The spa is amazing - we took the Hibiscus package, which included three different massages each during our stay. The therapists are outstanding, there are not many places where you can get something similar. What we enjoyed most was the diving - the diving center is exceptional. Very flexible - you can always decide what you would like to see and they will try to make it happen. We were lucky to have Richard as our guide (again) - and he helped us to some amazing underwater photos. Nitrox is for free if you are certified and 15l tanks are available (for people like us who need a bit more ;-)) There is some room for improvement regarding housekeeping: We needed to ask for toilet paper twice as it was not refilled, also coffee capsules and sugar did sometimes not find their way to our villa. The turndown service really does not anything more than redoing the bed, I think they could check a bit more. The WIFI was not stable, but that was not that much of a problem. All in all we had a fabulous time again and hope that we will make it back one more time in the future. Thanks Atmosphere-Team!

Accomodation: Sometimes the sheets were still "kind of dirty" even they were changed by housekeeping. I went out of coffee in the villa, because they didn't refill it. But after we mentioned this to the woman in charge of the housekeeping, it changed completely. So if you find something not going the way it should be, just tell them and they will do it right for the rest of the stay. Environmental care ist a big thing at the resort. There are always some water dispensers to fill up the refillable bottle that you get at the beginnen of your stay. You can also take them with you as a souvenier :) The resort itself is just beautiful. Clean, green, full of flowers. Spa: the spa is wonderful. One of a kind. The moment you take the first step into the area you will be swept off your feet. Never seen such a beautiful spa. Just - wow! The massage was good a relaxing after a long day. Best wood be a table for two for dinner in the spa area ;) Bar and Restaurant: The staff was always there for you, asking you if you need anything to drink or to eat. Really friendly. Gemma did an amazing job in the morning, making the first coffee to drink on the beach, always a smile or her face when she greats you good morning. Larry und Rio did also an amazing job, being always there and even remember what you are used to drink. The staff at the restaurant was also amazing and they did everything to make us happy. The food was one of the best food we ever had. The steak was always on point and the quality of everything was perfect. Better than we have at home. Even if you don't like something, they will make it the way you like. Just ask. Dive Center: Jan and Ricki (and the rest of the crew) did a great job. Just tell them what you need und they will find a way. I needed a needle and string to fix my wetsuit. Jan brought it immediately. A pressure gauge was broken and Ricky fixed it the same moment. just tell Ricky what you want to see under water and changes are 99.9% he will find it. We were only 4-5 divers on the boat, always the same buddies and crew, wich was perfect for us. You know each other by the time and it makes it more fun during the surface interval. The camera room is also really clean and perfect for every kind of camera. The only thing to mention is, there should be more power plugs for every place. Pool and beach: The pool was allways clean and refreshing (but not to cold) . In the morning right on there was always a lot of plastic on the front of the beach but were you will lay down, rest and enjoy the sun, it was always clean and a really beautiful beach. During sunrise and sunset it was even better :) Excursions: we didn't so any, because there was no big local market at the time and for me it was way to hot for a 300 stairs trip to a waterfall :) After all our trip to Atmosphere Resort was a really good trip and enjoyed it a lot. Extremely Excellent place to be in. The place, all staff are AMAZING! Cannot say anything above from above all. Would love to keep coming back again and again! See it for yourself and experience it too. Superrrrrrrr excellence in service and accommodation. PS: (no service charge here)

It is supposed to be one of the best accommodations. If so, you would expect immaculate service for 20.000 peso per night. However the premises miss charm and heart, it is all tight and rather clinical. The reception is located at the rear end of the premises. Upon arrival it does not give you a welcome feeling if you have to stroll a long way over the lawn, passing the rooms, by yourself. It does not have a nice beach: rocky and black, not suitable to swim. The premises are clean and neat. Big swimming pool and 2 other pools. Staff in the restaurant is friendly, unlike the staff at diving area. The restaurant serves nice food, but they are frying in coconut/vegetable oil with a strong smell and aftertaste, which i did not like. And then the prices! Tenderloin for 3000 peso? Average main dish 1500-2500 peso! As there are no restaurants near, it seems they are taking advantage of that. Staff in other hotels seem more friendly and helpful. E.g. when reception informs you about the possibility for take away breakfast and you want that, they direct you to go to the restaurant yoursel to order. I expect of a hotel like this, that reception would make the call themselves. Wifi was out for 2 days, but they fixed it after going to reception 4 times. Suggestion: place a fan outside on the patio.
