格拉芬瓦爾德運動酒店(Sporthotel Grafenwald)

Das Hotel war sehr sauber und das Zimmer sehr modern. Allerdings ein Zimmer in der dritten Etage, ohne Aufzug und dann niemand da der das Gepäck hoch trägt, ist schon ein Minuspunkt wenn man selber nicht mehr so fit ist. Zimmer im Dachgeschoss, bei 32 Grad Aussentemperatur, ohne Klimaanlage, führt zu einer äußerst hohen Raumtemperatur, die nicht zum entspannten schlafen dient. Ein Hotel mit Außenterasse, die dann aber an einem Samstagabend für Hotelgäste nicht zu nutzen ist weil für eine geschlossene Gesellschaft gesperrt, finde ich schon sehr schade. Hatte nur diesen einen Abend dort, von daher sehr ärgerlich. Ansonsten sehr schöne Anlage mit viel Potenzial nach oben.

Für das abendliche Buffet bloß nicht zu spät reservieren-sonst ist das Essen kalt und es sind auch Gerichte nicht mehr vorhanden. Die Qualität des Essens hat uns nicht überzeugt.Der Service ist zwar freundlich, aber es wäre auch schön in Ruhe frühstücken zu können, ohne dass alle 3 Minuten jemand an den Tisch kommt und Teller abräumen möchte (insbesondere wenn man das schon kommuniziert hat). Die Zimmer wären schön, aber das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis fanden wir nicht stimmig.

Alles goed: ontbijt, het ruime huisje, de wellness, de fitness, de vriendelijke ontvangst. Mooie omgeving ook. Volgende keer nemen we wel eigen kussens mee, deze waren zo plat als een pannenkoek. De t****e nacht legden we er een stapeltje kleren onder. En het tweepersoons bestond uit twee matrassen met een gleuf ertussen. Ongezellig. Maar verder heel goed dus.

Wir waren an einem Wochenende für zwei Nächte in einer Komfort Suite. Sowohl das Zimmer als auch die Einrichtungen des Hotels haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Meine Freundin hat die Anwendungen im Wellness- Bereich genossen und den Kindern (4 und 6) haben Pool und Kids Club sehr gut gefallen. Auch die Speisen am Buffet zum Abendessen waren lecker und reichhaltig. Besonderes Lob git dem Service- Personal!

Établissement situé en pleine nature à l'écart du village de Daun. L'endroit est calme et reposant, ma présence de la ville proche permet des options de restaurations. Se trouvant dans le massif de l'Eifel, l'accès est facile depuis la France, la Belgique et le Luxembourg. La piscine est grande même si l'eau est plutôt fraîche. Cela revigore après une journée de trajet et/ou de marche. Le petit offre un choix de produit intéressant mais forcément un peu plus limité si le remplissage du complexe est faible.

Please note that I am only reviewing their restaurant, as I know nothing about their hotel. I came here for dinner during my stay in the area. Their website advertises their menu, it is also available outside, so then I figured out it was opened to everyone. But when I entered, the lady who welcomed me asked me if I had booked, I said no. Then asked me about my name and I said "Why would you need my name if I haven't booked?". She looked confused, I was confused. Then she proceeded in giving me a table. I was alone in the entire restaurant. OK, it was early, but again they advertise that their kitchen is opened all day so I was expecting a bit more life. Anyway! Their website praised their love for hearty and local food, so I ordered the chicken, that seemed a bit out of your traditional schnitzel. It was the most tasteless and uneventful thing I had hate in a while. Seriously, I had better chicken in canteens! Problem thought: I was still hungry after that, and I noticed something in their menu that seemed exotic: a "Pina Colada" variation. Sure, let's give it a try! Look, as you will see from the number of reviews I have on my account, I love restaurants, I go there often, but THIS was the time I felt the most scammed in a loooong time! It was a fricking can of pineapple...with a bit of grated coconut, partially in a (cold) already made crepes, with a factory made coconut ice cream scoop, for 8€. No whipped cream, not caramelized, not fried panned, nothing. You are welcome! Cost of this delightful experience: a whopping 30€ and I promised they will never see my money again :)

Afgelopen week verbleven we enkele dagen in Sporthotel Grafenwald, in een huis op het enorm uitgestrekte domein van het hotel. Wat een ruimte! Een volwaardig salon en voldoende ruime slaapkamers. Alles uiterst proper en verzorgd. We waren in halfpension, dus naast een (uitgebreid) ontbijt mochten we ook aanschuiven voor het avondmaal-buffet. Heerlijk. Steeds keuze tussen vlees, vis en vegetarische alternatieven en steeds zeer smakelijk bereid. Het hotelpersoneel is bovendien super vriendelijk. Niets dus dat in de weg kan staan van een supervakantie in een prachtige omgeving met eindeloze wandelmogelijkheden.

Cozy hotel in the beautiful countryside. Good parking facilities outside and great tennis courts. Good gym also. The on-site restaurant served tasty food, and breakfast was good. Very good locally brewed beer too. The room had no AC, so it was a bit hot, but still tolerable.

Nous avons eu une suite magnifique ! Salle de bain immense, avec sauna douche et baignoire ! Superbe Chambre !
