克拉哈馬爾公寓(Krákhamar Apartments)

New, clean & quiet but just a bit remote from town.

We were greeted by the friendly owner. Having a kitchenette and living area was a welcome sight. Our first night (different hotel) was a very small room so the extra space was a welcome relief. The room was very clean and the views were stunning. There is a small deck with chairs to sit and enjoy the view. GPS had difficulty finding this but luckily we found a very helpful person to send us back in the correct direction. It is right on the ring road so it shouldn't have been a problem.

Really great…easy self check-in. Amazing place, would recommend. Defo grab food and groceries at nearby town first. Back porch are amazing place for views of ocean and scenery

Just here for a night passing through but check in was so easy, they were great about checking in and the place was exactly as described. Would recommend!

Oh wow, what a beautiful flat. The place itself was spotless and the view was wonderful. The area is a great launching point to drive up and down the eastern side of Iceland. I loved staying here and it was very comfortable. Just a small note that is NOT a negative: There's no TV (yet?), but we brought an iPad so that worked totally fine with the wifi. This would totally not stop me from coming here again and recommending it to others. There was ONE important missing item in the kitchen that's a good note for the owners: There's no dish I could use to bake in the microwave/convection oven combo (I don't think the regular Ikea plates would survive at 200C in the oven for long). That definitely caused us to change our dinner plans because we were planning on roasting some lamb. Anyway, I would totally stay here again, it was beautiful and comfortable.
