唐卡斯特國際酒店(Doncaster International Hotel)

The welcome banner should say “Welcome to the worlds filthiest hotel” !!! We checked in and then immediately walked out - it was uninhabitable and couldn’t get out quick enough - after complaining I was advised today that they wouldn’t refund our monies, saying they could of rectified the situation!!! - how they intended to rectify the rats running around in the car park as well as finding me a better room would of been impossible - Had I spoken to the rat he was properly checking out as it was so dirty !!! Please don’t book in here - no one should stay in conditions like this.

DO NOT STAY here, I would have given this zero stars if the option was there. Paid for two nights and stayed 30 minutes, customer service is diabolical I have all the history of the mail exchanges, total shambles. Dirty hotel room, bathroom and bed! customers playing loud rave music in there cars, *********s taking place openly in the car park, again if the management refute this is have photos and video. Hotel room stank of stale smoke (as did all the corridors) **** being smoked openly. Told the lad on the reception and two security guards (at 5pm on a Tuesday which tells you how bad this place is) I couldn’t stay here and before I even got to say anything he hung his head and said I don’t blame you this place is awful I hate working here, he was totally embarrassed about how bad it is, the security even joked (I think they were joking anyway) that even the TVs get stolen in this place whilst your watching it! Seriously do not stay here unless you want to score. Tried for weeks to get a refund but get some absolutely bemusing response! So I will have to go through trading standards as this place is absolutely shocking… I couldn’t think of a worse place to stay, just feel stupid for getting lured by the cheap price, I should have read the reviews. I’m sure the room had fleas as well as I got loads of bites and I didn’t even lay in the bed thankfully.

We had booked a quad room, when we arrived we were given keys to a quad. They then gave us the keys to another room which was made up as a twin and told us to build the additional beds ourselves while they went in search of bedding- not ideal when arriving late at night with children! The bedding was later brought to us by an unmasked staff member who was burying his face in the pillows to hold them. We were made uncomfortable by staff for wearing facemasks at check in (despite having had messages from the property requesting that masks be worn). The room itself was dirty with unwiped coffee spills down the walls and similar spillages over the desk. Raised these issues the day after we booked out and 10 days later have had no contact from the hotel. All this from a hotel that charged triple their normal rate because they could capitalise on it being a late booking on a bank holiday weekend!

Checked in to a room with no bed and a disgusting carpet, human error was the answer. Checked in to a second room. Look at the walls. No restaurant for food. We laid our staff off for COVID and we have not started then again. After a 14 hour day this is exactly what you need. NEVER AGAIN. complaint sent to customer services and their reply was almost oh well. You could have gone out for food.

Due to covid and businesses trying survive the hotel had been used by the council to house the homeless. Which you might not even see them as there's not many.There is door staff there but probably only as a precaution. Location was ok for shopping but only a £4.40 cab to town. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Not really as bad some are saying and the homeless are gone 1st September 2021. Value for money.

Friendly young mn checked me in. Clean and tidy , nice comfortable bed. Everything very good. Bar was closed by the time i checked in although it was fairly late by that time. would stay again here .

Recently stayed at this hotel as we were attending the races and concert nearby, we were a bit dubious about staying here as we had read bad reviews, but we both had an amazing experience, all staff were friendly and helpful, check in was quick and easy and the rooms were spacious and modern. We will definitely be stopping here again if we ever come back to Doncaster in the future

Booked for a weekend away for concerts and racing. The name of the hotel sounds very upmarket but don’t be fooled. Not cheap and the room was very disappointing! Cracked wash basin held together with glue (?), disgusting brown stains in the toilet and stains in the shower cubicle. Hairdryer not working. The overall appearance of the hotel is that it needs a good clean and revamp! On a positive note the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff fantastic, but expensive, dated and cleanliness not great. No reflection on the staff on shift
