小古德港酒店(Little Good Harbour)

This property is located in a very deserted area of Barbados separated by a main road. Each guest has a little cottage only secured by a skeleton key. The windows are shutter windows which don't close so people can see right int. When I complained about this I was told they were decorative and to pull the curtains, only there aren't curtains for half of them. Someone else's review described this as "colonial" style, I'd go with "plantation" style. This place is a restored British fort where once upon a time they almost certainly kept enslaved Africans according to locals I spoke to. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable the entire time I was there, so much so that I left mid-stay. The owner refused to refund me for my remaining days. I am pursuing that but honestly I just had to leave. It was a really bad vibe. Also there is no air conditioning on the first floor of the cottages, the beach is tiny and not easily accessible if you are staying in the "garden view" cottages which are on the other side of the main road, the beds are not comfortable and it's very noisy because you can't shut the windows. Awful.

This is our third stay in our favourite hotel on the island.Welcoming helpful staff, excellent food. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is wonderful, the view is amazing, excellent food and Kath M’s hospitality and efficient service makes it very enjoyable.

This is a gem of a little hotel set up the west coast of Barbados on a quiet beach. The rooms are very well appointed and the Oceanfront Fort Suite is the pick of the rooms set right on the sea with a super terrace. The restaurant is definitely one of the best on the island with mouth-watering food and friendly service. Cocktails on the beach is a must. Book directly and contact Javon Griffith who is Group Sales & Marketing Operations Manager. He is extremely helpful.

We stayed at Little Good Harbour for eight nights after Easter. The welcome we received and the service throughout were exemplary. The hotel is well placed to explore the north and west of the island and we were glad that we hired a car. Nothing was too much trouble for Javon and his team, who booked various trips for us in advance and also groceries and drinks for the fridge. We ate in the Fish Pot Restaurant several times and the food and service were excellent.

Delightful little hotel in small but very well planted and quiet grounds, with the bigger of two pools very tastefully set out. Our room was two storey with sitting area and kitchen downstairs, lovely, cool and tasteful (again) bedroom, bathroom and balcony upstairs - ideal. Across the little road from The Fish Pot, fabulous location right on the beach with great food and good service. Altogether, a lovely, relaxing, comfortable boutique hotel and restaurant.

Fantastic gem of a small hotel with every comfort . A beautiful place in lush ground s with a two storey accommodation. Very spacious, lovely furnishings, relaxing and peaceful. Lovely pools and great service from the fish pot in the restaurant and also for on terrace dining should you wish! Absolutely gorgeous with great staff too. Nothing is too much trouble. Restaurant food varied and delicious. We have already re booked for next year! Hope to see you all then. Thanks

This was our second visit to LGH, we had visited previously in February 2022 which was our first holiday post covid and our first time visiting the Caribbean. Our flight was delayed due to storm Eunice but while we waited in the airport, Jason emailed saying he'd noted our flight was delayed, that our transfer from the airport would be ready for us and that dinner would be served on our terrace. This immediately took away the anxiety we were feeling about the delay. We got out of the taxi at LGH to be greeted by Javon and Trevor and to a sensory overload: warmth, humidity, bird song, frogs and insects and a meal laid out for us on the terrace of a beautiful, spacial villa and rum punches at the ready. It was dark when we arrived so woke up ready to see where we were the next morning and went for breakfast at the Fish Pot. We were utterly blown away by the view from the restaurant and were left speechless. Everyone at LHG and the Fish Pot made our first visit so memorable and special. We decided to got back in 2023 and were welcomed so warmly by Javon and Trevor. We stayed in a different villa and enjoyed the change. There is so much space for a family with teenagers, we wouldn't get this at a regular hotel. The swimming pool is peaceful, with the occasional lizard, humming bird, butterflies and even the odd monkey sighting. The grounds are beautiful, lovingly tended by a team of diligent gardeners. The whole site is immaculate thanks to the professional cleaning team. It is easy to instantly relax from the moment you arrive and soak up some much appreciated winter sun. The Fish Pot is fantastic for breakfast, gluten free bread is usually available, which means I don't have to use up valuable space in my suitcase. Having drinks on the beach terrace to watch the sunset is really special and the dinner menu has plenty of choice and the food is excellent. The whole restaurant team are highly professional and friendly - no stuffiness here. We can't wait to return.

My friends and I enjoyed a fabulous vacation at this splendid, intimate resort. We shared a three bedroom lovely apartment with spectacular views, and more than comfortable accommodations . The grounds and buildings are beautifully maintained and create a cozy environment. The beach was great, the drinks were great, the swimming was great, and the restaurant always great . Most of all, The staff were especially attentive And generous with their warm, smiles and genuine care I really cannot wait to go back

I had a fabulous short stay here. Thoroughly recommend The welcome I received was wonderful. Food was taken at the The Fish Pot directly opposite the Hotel and behind that was the small private beach. Comfy four poster bed and mozzie net upstairs with air cond and ceiling fan. Lovely ornate large swimming pool Quite remote so car or bus needed for exploring further afield. Lovely couple of days here
