First room we were assigned to reeked of wet dog smell. Second room reeked of bleach. Third room was the charm. So beware this is a pet friendly hotel so if you have allergies to animals, probably not a good choice for you. Staff was amazing, very pleasant, and helpful. We had to call maintenance to help with the TV 3 times. Each time, the young guy who helped was super kind and friendly. The bed needs a blanket that actually fit a king size bed. The blanket that had under the bed spread was actually a box spring sham cover. Who the heck thought that was a good idea?! Housekeeping was friendly each time we ran into them in the hallway. One of the two elevators were broke so waiting for only one elevator took some extra time. However, overall not a bad place to stay.

The alarm clock and telephone didn't work. We reported this to the front desk. But, they didn't do anything about it. Also, the hotel staff allows homeless people to use the bathroom in the lobby. That's kind of them. But, one of the homeless people harassed us for no reason. Finally, the breakfast options were limited. The facility and the location are great. But, for more than $400 a night, our overall experience was disappointing

I think I'm a good customer since I stay every year from 2 - 3 weeks, the same time of every year, but they couldn't find a room for me for one of the weeks this year because NASCAR was in town? How many NASCAR goers are 2 - 3 week annual customers/guests? The hotel is clean, quiet and very, very convenient for me. That's why I stay there. I don't use pool, exercise room or participate in free breakfast. I sleep on the couch for physical reasons not in the bed. I don't understand their housekeeping schedule especially when you ask NOT to have your room cleaned and they do it anyway. Don't know if the reason is Housekeeping or the front desk not giving them the message. Also asked for more towels at the front desk in the early morning (I was there for 2 weeks) and I had them in my room when I returned so thumbs up to that but the very next day someone cleaned my room (even though I asked not to have it cleaned) and took away 2 of 3 washcloths that were left the day before so I had 1 washcloth for 4 days. Housekeeping did apologize but again, I don't think they knew what they were apologizing for. They were just being very polite. Everyone who works there is pleasant. I just want you to know that.

I was not aware that this was a pet friendly hotel, not clearly stated on the website like others in the area, so I was a bit put off seeing dogs walking down the hallway and around the property (leashed and unleashed). The room was comfortable, shower floor not the cleanest. Breakfast was good, friendly staff members ready to assist as needed. Saltwater pool was great until the Second Day****** An elderly woman who utilizes a rolling walker got into the pool defecated while in the pool, pulled it out of her swimsuit and placed the feces aside the handicap lift. My family immediately jumped out of the pool to inform management. Cindy Price- GM initially responded “Yes, we are aware of that guest”. Not the response we looking for, eventually housekeeping verified “the evidence” then closed the pool.

We have stayed there many times and the place is clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I’m glad they allow pets, however I feel $50 for an overnight stay for our cat was too expensive.

We normally have great service when we book Home2 and this stay was no different. We had one incident with a very noisy room next to ours and when we notified the front desk, they sent someone right away to address the matter. I appreciated this responsiveness.

Clean but room was just a little run-down. Not a big deal though. Friendly staff is very nice. I would really appreciate more meatless options in the breakfast! Eggs without meat would be great.

The room smelled very clean, everything was great. The price was more than I expected but the quality of the room was ok.

We did not ask for a handicapped-accessible room, but were given one. It was a big room and had motorized blinds so someone in a wheelchair could reach the controls. The bad part about this was that the top of the blinds constantly flashed red-green-red-green, right over the head of the bed. This is not conducive to sleep.
