Anything nice I would say is negated by the fact that we were awaken at 6am by a fire alarm in the hallway. It went off for at least 20 minutes. I called the front desk & was assured it was a false alarm. Just when I finally fell back asleep the fire alarm in our room went off at 7am. Once again called the front desk & could barely hear, but was told false alarm. We didn’t check in until 10 pm & had to drive 8 hrs today. It was unacceptable to experience this. My son & I just got up at 7:15, got dressed and left while the alarm was still on. When we stepped on the elevator it shut off. I did not receive an apology or any type of courtesy discount etc. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!

Hotel had no hot water upon arrival, I requested a crib & they said they were all out. Finally at 11 pm the power in my room went out & wasn't restored until the following morning, while I had my 11 year old, 4 year old & 13 month old with me. Asked to switch rooms & was told the hotel was at capacity.

I requested a refund or credit as the ******* site defaulted to the incorrect month. I needed to stay in august. The hotel was fully booked when I showed up at 11pm - neither ******* or Double tree would make it right. Poor customer service when 2 companies would rather retain a buck while I the customer had to sleep in the car

I arrived two hours before scheduled check in time to see if there was a for an early check in for a reservation made back in April. The young lady at the counter checked twice to see if it was possible. Unfortunately, it wasn't so we left for a dinner reservation at 3:00 pm. While we were at dinner, I received a call informing me my reservation had been canceled due to an issue with the credit card. I never received a call asking for a second credit card number or to confirm the number was correct. When I asked why this happened. I was told 'it was Hilton's policy to cancel reservations if there is an issue with the credit card on after the first attempt.' There were no rooms available in the Columbus area due to the Billy Joel concert and an Irish festival in Dublin. When the concert ended we had nowhere to stay and ended up driving to the Dayton area to stay with a family member. I cannot believe Hilton would do this. We called Hilton customer service to inquire about this and were informed this was not Hilton's policy but unfortunately, the hotel had no vacancies. They were sorry but there was nothing that could be done to help us with a room for the night.

This was a great hotel, however I am super unhappy with the fact that I booked this room specifically because the reservation was confirmed as an ada (mobility, roll in shower) since my mother in law recently had knee replacement surgery, but when we arrived-we were told this property did not have any rooms with that option..

Our room was not serviced after the first night. Also, when I saw a cleaning lady, I told her we were out of conditioner in the bathroom. She replied, "I'm sorry," but did not offer to get us any.

I thought the night before the desk clerk said we have a complimentary breakfast. Nope. The guy at the desk the next morning before 10:30 said everything was put away, but we could have a to go box for $17.00. Hmmm no thanks. I felt he should have at least let us have it complimentary. There was nobody in the area AND they were going to throw it away anyway, or should have.

Convenient location, plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. I was on a business trip, arrived late and was checked into someone else's room. Poor lady had almost had a heart attack as I tried to enter her room. She also received a notification of a room change in the middle of the experience and proceeded to follow me to the front desk and wanted to know where I was being assigned. A little unsettling for all. My room was filthy, water all over bathroom floor, towels wet, tissue box full of water. It was late and I had an early morning and figured services would deal with it in the morning. Evidently no services are happening - my room was never serviced even after I requested it from the night staff. Was not aware I was being charged for breakfast, no one shared that and I wouldn't have because its the same as the free breakfast anywhere else. Kids playing soccer down the halls and in the lobby....I won't be back.
