花園巷背包客旅館(Canbe Garden Lane Backpackers)

A very nice hostel for Backpackers or people looking for a night's accommodation. It's not a doss house like the other hostel close by. The facilities are very good , rooms very clean and the staff very courteous and helpful. I have no hesitation staying here again when in Dublin!

Very nice location, very central, 15 min from Temple Bar. Not a big fan of the shower a little too small but all was nice for one night or 2

Comfortable and good

Great place with comfortable beds, nice and clean bathrooms and very few to share them with which made it feel like you had your own. Overall a great feeling. Situated in a quiet residential area only 15 minutes walk from busy Temple Bar or city centre. Big common room and kitchen and lift so should work great for everyone. Friendly staff at reception. I would be happy to stay here again.

This place is a scam. €50 and all you get is a bed, and that bed can’t even come with a pillow? And there’s no one at reception 24/7 to give you one?? Absolutely not. Go anywhere else. We also wanted to do laundry as well… but seeing that we checked in after 6 pm (seriously? 6 pm?), we weren’t able to buy any tokens or laundry soap. So yeah… this place is useless- like if you’re just looking for a place to just sleep, you can’t even do that because they can’t even provide a pillow.

Nice and cosy place. Super quiet, silent during the nights and comfortable beds. Staff and reception is amazing and super helpful. Its a clean place and 15min walking from town and most of attractions. Nice places around to have a brunch.

Garden Lane Backpackers was clean and well kept. There was a nice common area with a nice view of the city. It is conveniently located and within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants/bars. We stayed in bunk beds that were surprisingly comfortable. It was a little noisy at night. The person staying next to us came in late (2am) and was signing loudly and playing loud music. We had to be up early, so this was an inconvenience. We did not report this to the desk. Other than this, it was a nice stay. We were able to drop our bags after check out to keep exploring the city without lugging our baggage around. Garden Lane Backpackers suggested the Dublin Express Bus to get to/from the airport, which worked out well.

The bed was comfortable but the doors were noisy and opening and closing them late at night kept me awake. The kitchen and common areas were a bit tired but clean. There was little instruction from the front desk regarding things like food storage. The stove had no instructions and the paint with temperature settings and oven setting was worn off.

At 51 year's old this was my first hostel stay and wont be my last. Nice place, easy check in, nice atmosphere. I was in a 6 bed female room and it was fine. Nice common area and kitchen with lots of room. Easy enough to cook if you dont want to go out. Only slight negative was i found the dorm a little hot, but that may just be me!
