阿什利旅館(Ashley Inn)

Pretty much exactly what you’d expect from a New England bed and breakfast, a cozy, quaint, and delightful stay. The bed was very comfortable, got great sleep here. The highlight is definitely spending time with Fred and Stella (resident dog). Even if the rooms were icky (which they’re not at all, the exact opposite in fact) I’d still probably stay here to hangout with those two. Stella is just the cutest sweetest dog to be greeted by every time you enter. Location is prime. Walkable to everything in Edgartown while avoiding a lot of the nighttime noise. And the price is more than reasonable. Don’t miss out!

I agree with the other comments that The inn is extremely worn with soiled furnishings and poor decor. Cold coffee was on offer at the non existent breakfast and an overall lack lustre feel. The lounge which could have been made very welcoming was uninviting with shabby couches and pillows that hadn’t been plumped up in a decade. The whole place needed renovation with moth eaten stair carpets and shabby pictures. The couch in the bedroom looked filthy and the furniture throughout mismatched and old. The bed was ok as was Fred on check in. The inn is a shadow of its former self and needs a serious injection of cash to compete with modern day equivalents.

My husband & I stayed at the Ashley Inn & absolutely loved everything about this New England B & B. From the four-poster bed & 18th-century architectural design, and the town's dry ordinance (no alcohol to preserve the historic origins) and the gourmet breakfast we were so glad we stayed here. The B & B is walking distance to the Vespa & bike rental shop and many boutique style shops & restaurants.
