Older hotel that was showing its age, rundown on several areas, but that really wasn't the crux of the problem. The second night of the stay they had a maintenance issue with what I believe was air in the water lines, pervasively loud throughout the room and hall, woke me up from a dead sleep at 4 in the morning. When I initially went to the desk to complain, the one person working was immediately dismissive, stating that there was nothing that could be done until later in the morning anyway, and didn't seem intent on even having anyone investigate. However as I was arguing my point that it was definitely something wrong that needed to be addressed, a person from the 11th floor (I was on 10th), then the 14th, and eventually the 8th came down all complaining about the ridiculous noise it was creating, waking people throughout the building. Only after that number of people complained did they try to look into it, and even after they did, there was no real solution offered. I ended up resorting to sleeping in my vehicle for a few hours before I left, and will be attempting to work with ******* to refund the second night of the stay.
