We stayed for two nights and only requested to clean the bathroom one time because it smells a little, which was quickly performed by a cleaning crew. The hotel security system was damaged by lighting while we were checking in but was repaired 5 or 6 hours later.

My experience was great until I wanted to stay an extra day because the place was so nice. I paid for an extra night and it was applied to the wrong day which I understand mistakes happen but when I went to call the front desk the attendant said she would apply it to extend my stay. I called the front desk the next morning only for lady at the front desk to tell me that I couldn’t and that was against policy. I couldn’t get a refund either for my payment. I then asked to speak to the General manager stocky African man and he was rude and condescending to say the least. I explained what happened and he said that he can modify reservations and that I would not be getting a refund. There were several attempts by ******* to get him to value customer service and allow me to use the day I already paid for but didn’t use and he would not. I wanted to book with them in the future but because I paid for a service that I did not receive or get reimbursed I will never set foot in this hotel again. I will let my friends and followers know of his attitude and guest service.

The air in my room was broken my entire stay. When it was looked at, the air filter looked like it hadn’t been changed in ten years (I have a pic). No other accommodation was made. Ice machine on my floor broken. Two of four elevators broken. Skylight boarded with plywood. My friends room had no working power from one side of the room meaning no tv, microwave, or light on that side. First and last time ever staying at a Sonesta. Not to mention having to pay $60 extra to check in anytime before 4pm.

Older hotel that was showing its age, rundown on several areas, but that really wasn't the crux of the problem. The second night of the stay they had a maintenance issue with what I believe was air in the water lines, pervasively loud throughout the room and hall, woke me up from a dead sleep at 4 in the morning. When I initially went to the desk to complain, the one person working was immediately dismissive, stating that there was nothing that could be done until later in the morning anyway, and didn't seem intent on even having anyone investigate. However as I was arguing my point that it was definitely something wrong that needed to be addressed, a person from the 11th floor (I was on 10th), then the 14th, and eventually the 8th came down all complaining about the ridiculous noise it was creating, waking people throughout the building. Only after that number of people complained did they try to look into it, and even after they did, there was no real solution offered. I ended up resorting to sleeping in my vehicle for a few hours before I left, and will be attempting to work with ******* to refund the second night of the stay.

If you have any issues with your room, you will likely be unable to resolve the issues by calling the front desk. We asked extra pillows, they bring us literal couch cushions. I walk the cushions back to the front desk, they miraculously out of all pillows. Our hot water didn’t work, and the front desk won’t answer the phone. Walking downstairs, they are all looking at their cell phones and talking. I was told that on the floor I was on,I would need to run the water for more than ten minutes. After 30 minutes, I just decided to take a cold shower so I could keep my schedule. I stopped back at the front desk, and they said they would change my room if I packed all my belongings and brought them to the lobby. I did just that after returning back from my day. The staff really doesn’t seem to care about these issues, and seems to be annoyed that they are being brought to their attention. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

This place is actual garbage. The bathroom was dirty, sooooo disgusting. There was like soap shavings it looked like just scattered on the ENTIRE bathroom floor, and TOILET. The shower was nasty too, as there was like soap running down the body wash dispenser just dried and caked on.
