When we walked in we were welcomed and upgraded to a better room with more space and I felt welcomed the only downside is the parking tickets which you only pay 7 dollars for all the times you leave the hotel. It is a very nice place there is this guy who’s name is katon he is very humble at the front desk and very fun to talk too 10/10 experience
I called and made a reservation for 8 outside. Showed up to the restaurant our tables had been filled, even though the hostess acknowledged we had a reservation. Although disappointed, we asked if we could at least have a table inside near the window, but were told that request couldn't be accommodated either. This was surprising as the restaurant inside was completely empty. The manager came and talked to us after we expressed our disappointment and said, ”I'm sorry that someone told you we could take an outdoor reservation, but we don't and that should be obvious.” I was literally shocked that this was something a manager would say to a guest. I'm not sure how it would be obvious when I was never told when I called to make the reservation that I couldn't do so. Bottom line, they made an error and instead of trying to make it right, the manager made us seem like it was our fault. Not only that, bent over backwards to NOT make it right. Absolutely unacceptable.
I slept very well. I appreciated the mattress and the fluffy pillows. Room 107 is a big room without carpet on the floor. A “no-frills” motel. Ample amount of parking spaces. Very helpful employee checked me in, and another employees happily greeted me when I left the next morning. The chalking around the bathtub needs to be replaced or bleached. I noticed the chalking because I took a hot bath, but someone taking a shower would not notice this. Upon entering the motel, the entryway had overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke, but my room certainly did not. Coffee was available in the lobby. I couldn’t find the Bible in my room. I’d stay here again if I was in the area.
