迪恩施泰因普菲費爾加藤酒店&酒莊(Gartenhotel & Weingut Pfeffel Durnstein)

Where to start. The staff is friendly and professional. Breakfast is large and delicious The rooms are nice and comfortable I did not use the spa and pool this time, but if you want to, they have these too. And we e got a couple of bikes to explore Durnstein. Not convinced yet? The full board menu is also excellent!

We stayed here for 2 days as a getaway from Vienna. The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the centre of Durnstein, along a major rural road with a narrow pavement. Nevertheless, the views from the hotel are spectacular and provide a lovely view of the landscape around. The staff are helpful and the reception and hotel waiting staff are very good; however, there is a lot about the decor that needs updating, it feels dated and the rooms do not belong in a 4* hotel, basic and lacking a bit of finesse and charm. Thankfully the surroundings are so beautiful and the quality of wine and food at the hotel more than compensate with a great selection of wines from the hotel's vineyard, which are really well explained by the restaurant staff. The fact the hotel had been fully booked since May 2020 is a testament to how good a reputation the hotel has built up over the years. The sauna facilities and pool on the top floor are excellent, with four different types of steam and sauna and changing facilities, some of which provide views onto the surrounding area while one is sweating it out. There is a comfortable family feel to the hotel and I am sure would be idyllic on sunny days.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer guten Lage für Ausflüge in die Wachauer Umgebung. Wir wohnten im neuen Teil des Hotels. Zimmer und Bad sind toll und sehr geräumig mit großem Balkon und schönen Blick auf die Donau. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich und es wird immer reichlich nachgebracht. Das Angebot für eine Abendmahlzeit war hingegen sehr dürftig.

Mit Uniqua Versicherungs Gutschein leider im Altbau in einem muffigen abgewohnten Zimmer einquartiert. Sehr enttäuschend minkelnder Teppichboden und ebenso alte muffige Möbel ! Balkon rissiges ,abfärbendes Holz ! Haus selbst eigentlich alles Super aber wegen Zimmer nie mehr wieder !

Durch Corona Maßnahmen war zu wenig Personal im Hotel wie auch im Restaurant bzw. Service vorhanden. Schränkte den Genuss sehr ein. Zimmer groß mit Balkon zur Donau. Am Dach Pool für Hausgäste vorhanden. Frühstück in Buffett Form.

Sehr gemütliches Hotel mit tollem Wellnessbereich. Auch das Essen im Restaurant und das sehr umfangreiche Frühstücksbuffet ist erwähnenswert. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal runden das ganze zu einem perfekten Kurzurlaub ab. Kommen sehr gerne wieder!
