蘭普萊特爾酒店-南部(Lamplighter Inn-South)

The night staff was nice. When we arrived, it took a minute for anyone to realize we were standing at the desk, but once noticed, they were nice to deal with. Breakfast was horrible. No sausage or bacon with the powdered eggs. Biscuits and gravy was terrible. No meat in the gravy, no flavor either. The biscuits were undercooked. No fresh fruit options. The bread items were a bit hard. Had to ask where the butter was. The coffee was so weak, it looked more like tea. Couldn’t drink it. The morning staff, again, once I got their attention, was friendly. The beds were a bit worse for the wear. My daughter and her husband had to fight rolling into the middle of the bed. My bed was comfortable, but I was able to sleep in the middle. Overall, not terrible, but also won’t stay there again.

Not the place to go!! The service was not helpful. No guide for tv, room actually dirty not vac, and the worst was no toilet paper backup, had to go to the desk to get it. The so called free breakfast on friday morning was a joke--they explained only weekends have full breakfast. Have no clue how this hotel got a good rating on trip.com--my kids tried to have flowers ordered to our room (they were paying for it) for our 40th anniversary and they were totally unhelpful and said no to her--she almost told us to cancel our booking--she should have--this will go down as the worst hotel experience we have ever had.

Was a pleasant stay, a little noisy with people in the hallway, but that stopped at around 10:30.

Its cheap, but also old and in need of upgrades. The cleaners do a good job however...but...there is a problem with this hotel...I have bites all around my nipple and under my arm and down by side and in the small of my back from what I can only guess are bed bugs?...tiny welts that itch and burn...never ran into bed bugs before so I am not sure...last week I had a few bites but this week (I stay for 4 days at a time) I was eaten alive...I have isolated by clothes and everything will need to be washed... Other than bedbugs and the occasional loud noise at 2 AM...its ok...

Very friendly for a medium size town. Love the clean towels and showers

The jacuzzi tub was horrible it blew out chunks of dirty. There were roaches. Someone else's food left in fridge. Dirty pair of socks found by bed.

The hotel was rundown but for the price what do you expect. The rooms were clean, and Ziggies next door was a great breakfast alternative to basic cold for breakfast.

The whole experience was terrible. I got a call at 930-10 o'clock at night. Saying that they didn't have enough room and had to cancel the Reservation.

The staff has been amazing throughout my unexpectedly extended stay. Thank you to all of the Lamplighter Inn & Suites staff.
