We stay at the West Retford Hotel quite often as we visit my family in Retford and meet up with friends here. Every stay has been enjoyable.The hotel is very clean and the rooms well equipped and comfortable. The staff are always polite and welcoming. The events they hold here are well organised and the food is always good.All round great value.

Stayed for a wedding. Allocated rooms earlier than check in which was an excellent start! Rooms were lovely, comfortable and spacious. Wedding was fantastic - cannot fault this hotel at all. Highly recommend

We had a very pleasant stay here for 3 nights. The room was spacious and clean. We did find the bathroom a bit tired and dated but again it was clean. Plenty of secure parking. We didn’t eat at the hotel at all so are unable to comment on that aspect. Very convenient location.

Lovely room and welcoming staff. Had a very pleasant stay the only area of little concern was noise from outside the room. We could hear people in the corridors and other rooms but it wasn’t a big concern for us.

Enjoyed just one night here while visiting friends. Conveniently located near retford town centre.

Great staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. Superb room and food. Will stay again.

We had a very good one night stop here. Very nice clean room and bathroom. Comfy bed. We had a meal in the bar restaurant which was very good. Room service breakfast as we were not that hungry enough for a full English but that was quite sufficient. Only downside was a step in bath to shower as we are not as young as we were so not so easy getting in and out.!!

Room was really nice. Staff were welcoming. Food was fantastic. We hired a room upstairs for our wedding and everyone really enjoyed their food. The staff went above and beyond for us. The room it self was lovely. The staff set up the table for us which was really helpful.
