伊斯特本萊美酒店(Eastbourne Reymar)

Wir hatten das B+B wegen der guten Bewertungen gebucht und wurden enttäuscht. Familienzimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick hörte sich so verlockend an… Ergebnis war, der Balkon ist abgeschlossen und nicht betretbar. Wir hatten das „Glück“ zu einer sehr heissen Zeit Eastbourne zu besuchen, im Zimmer war es nicht auszuhalten. Keine Klimaanlage, kein Ventilator und die Balkontür verschlossen, wir konnten nur wenig schlafen. Es gibt eine enge Duschkabine mit Toilette, im Raum direkt neben dem Bett ein Waschbecken ( wir 1970 ) es gibt nur heißes oder kaltes Wasser. Der ganze Spaß kostete uns über 160€ die Nacht, die guten Bewertungen sind nicht nachvollziehbar oder die anderen Unterkünfte sind noch schlechter. Frühstück war ok ( halt englisch Eier, Eier, Bohnen und Toast ) wir mussten uns für die Zeiten 8 Uhr, 8:30 Uhr oder 9 Uhr entscheiden. Positiv zu erwähnen die vorhandene Toilettenbürste und das Internet war auch ok. Die Lage ist ungünstig so weit oben, weite Wege zum Bahnhof, Restaurants und Pier täglich. Schade, Nick sollte mal renovieren.

Haben Hotel für eine Buchung angefragt und konnten uns nicht über die Ankunftszeit einigen. Also kein Vertrag zustandegekommen. Reyamr hat trotzdem Vorauszahlung über Kreditkarte abgebucht. Rückzahlung bis heute nicht erfolgt. 113 CHF versenkt. Geht so was von gar nicht.Pfui Sind dann mit Camper losgefahren.

Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar en heel charmant gebouw. Goede keuze om Eastbourne te bezoeken, dicht bij alles maar toch rustig . Prijs kwaliteit is goed!

Thanks to Nick and staff for a relaxing stay. Warm welcome by the team. Large variety at breakfast, continental and or hot breakfast. Visitor lounge well stocked with board games. Plenty of useful tips provided from places to visit, recommended places to eat. Will be back again.

Very friendly greeting on arrival. Great setting and very close to the seafront. Room was a good size but the bed wasn't the most comfortable. Good breakfast and lots of choice on offer, you have to chose the night before but can change your options daily.

Our family stayed for 3 nights at Eastbourne Reymar, a little B&B that is runned "with heart". The staff were attentive and friendly throughout. Nick, the proprietor and his hosting team have developed a knack for making the place a welcoming one - engages patrons and brightens the atmosphere with his presence. We loved the complimentary English/continental breakfast options, freshly made. B&B has a great quiet location within walkable distance of seafront, restaurants.

Great value B&B and lovely host, Nick, was very helpful with local restaurants, but down side street not on sea front so "sea view" was very limited by road and sea wall. Finding parking on road was a bit hit and miss. Room was otherwise good, but shower needs updating and breakfast was great. Thanks also for keeping husband's wallet and phone safe after he managed to leave without them!

A lovely hotel near the seafront in Eastbourne. Nick and his staff made us very welcome. Great selection of items for breakfast. Hotel room was lovely with en suite and a TV, but guest lounge also available. A small issue with the shower was sorted while we ate our breakfast on the first morning there. Will use again if in the area.

We were put in an attic room with very limited facilities, ie, 2 usable power sockets only, if the tv (18 inch) and kettle plugged in, no phone charge points or USB outlets available. Bed was very uncomfortable, unable to get interrupted sleep as bed made awful noises when you moved. Shower water pressure a joke as only dripped out, not even a spurt. Attention to detail needed on cleaning, as quite dirty down side of wardrobe and chests of drawers, also left hand window double glazed panel blown, full of condensation obscuring our limited sea view.
