歐克萊爾南希爾頓惠庭酒店(Home2 Suites by Hilton Eau Claire South)

Apparently its against policy to be a local guest. Dont live in eau claire or chippewa falls if you want to book here. They dont want local business they want outbof townersto book with them. Apparently with covid in 2020 they changed policy and made kt so only out of towners could stay. Not posted anywhere but when you goto check in.

We travelled a lot this year and visited various hotels. This by far is the best we have been to. It is located in a mall. It is in a safe area. It is super clean and freshly renovated. The breakfast was above and beyond what one would expect anywhere else. The food is served in regular plates with regular silverware and actual glasses. The selection is excellent and fulfilling. The staff is exceptionally friendly. There is a super clean fitness room and a super clean pool. There are two elevators. We were beyond satisfied and will make the point of staying again.

Spouse has celiac, must eat gluten free. Omelets and sausage sandwiches were in same container. Only 1 tongs for guests to self-serve with. Employee who replenished food used same spatula on both foods. Major cross contamination issues. PLEASE educate staff on allergy safety. Due to cross contamination, the only foods that were safe for spouse were the yogurt, juice, and fresh fruit.

Room was nice and big. Only draw back is their breakfast buffet. I have a gluten allergy and a big part and savings is having a nice breakfast. Everything but the waffles were pre-made. All the warm food was so cross contaminated, that all I was able to eat was yogurt and fruit. Other motels make things fresh so you have a idea what you are going to eat. No worth getting sick over.

Everything was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Our only complaints were the pool was cold, 80 degrees is cold for a pool. The pillows were very soft, no firm pillows to be found. And the toilet paper...cheap Scott...sorry had to go buy better stuff. 😆. Everything else was great, had a fantastic stay.

I checked in at this property and was told room was in 4th floor. After getting to the room it was a King Bed Room when I had booked a 2 Queen Room. Couldn’t login to EI-do. When I called front desk - I was informed they gave me the wrong room. Had to go all the way downstairs to grab the correct room keys which was in the 4th floor and do the whole check-in process again. Not a very good first impression.

Check in was quick, the hotel was super clean and breakfast was great! The rate was a steal for the amount of room we had! I would definitely stay again-if was a great place!

Overall a great experience. The pool is a bit small and the water was pretty chilly. The bathrom door is a slider and doesnt offer great privacy. No vent fan either so if someone leaves a ripper, youll know by multiple senses. No complimentary body care such as lotion or ear swabs. None of which is a big deal as its my fault for forgetting. The breakfast was great! Staff was nice. I would absolutely stay again. Great bang for buck. I had the great pleasure of having godzilla walk a marathon all night. Above us. No idea why someone felt the need to walk that much. Theres isnt that much space in the room. But again, over bang for buck is awesome.

Check in was very disorganized and person was rude. Bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way so there is a giant crack where people can look in. No privacy. Blanket is extremely light and just seemed cheap. Nice space but not worth the money
