Mixed feelings and hopeful considering they have the potential to be one of the best properties in India, not just under the wildlife category. The warmth and hospitality is top notch. Hopefully, there is some effort put onto the staff's training and information, otherwise they're are very kind and cordial.

Outstanding! Beautiful rooms, gardens, delicious food , exceptional service. Very friendly and helpful staff. We spent a wonderful week , we did several safaris with an excellent guide. Thank you to Wildnest Travel and Photography to choose with place for us. Highly recommended !!!

We had an exceptional stay, impeccable villas & services, food was delicious Special Mention- Biryani, secluded close to nature, hardly 4 hour drive from Lucknow. Staff was on point and made sure to fulfil all the needs.

After a long drive from Lucknow when you enter Jaagir ***or you’ll fall in love with the property. Every detail is handcrafted by the owner of the property to perfection. The staff is extremely well trained and knowledgeable. The only sound that you hear is the chirping of the birds and feel the whiff of fresh air. Freshly ground spices in farm grown vegetables are a delight for a gourmet meal. A perfect gateway for family and friends. Do not expect TV in the room and a swimming pool .

Check in was slightly embarrassing due to misinformed junior..... rest all including villa ,ambience, house keeping , food n beverages were sheer superb.... special mention for Mr Shashank and Vinay (Fnb) who made our vacation a memorable experience...... last words for the owner of Property Mr Kamaljeet ....wow what a hu*** being such humble , generous, Gentle*** ...... Jagir ***or is Oasis with full of wonderful People

The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great decor . The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and i must say the chef govind singh is amazing. I enjoyed the meal he prepared.

Tucked away on the outskirts of Palia town, surrounded by sugarcane fields and litchi and guava orchards lies one of the coolest properties I have had the pleasure of visiting. The Jaagir Lodge was created by converting an old ancestral farmhouse into a chic boutique hotel/lodge. The appeal of the property lies in the fact that the old school charm of a mid century farm bungalow was left untouched and only buoyed by the addition of modern amenities that a discerning and well travelled tourist has come to expect. The rooms are expansive with gorgeous decor. Marvelling over the furnishings at Jaagir Lodge alone would have made a worthwhile trip- they are just that good!!! But there is so much more that’s on offer. The compound has been beautifully landscaped with flowering trees and bushes making it a haven for birds and wildlife. Sitting by the pool one afternoon, I was able to identify over 20 species of birds alone! An added bonus was the sighting of a pair of leopards that frequent the property. You can book a morning and evening safari on the Lodge’s snazzy Thar jeeps under the watchful eye of their resident Naturalist Partap. A local with immense knowledge about the flora and fauna of the terai and Dudhwa, he also was instrumental in my first and only tiger sighting in Dudhwa after decades of trying! At the lodge, you’ll be pampered by the ever smiling and gracious guest services ***ager Mohan. He’ll be at your door with a delicious cup of tea at 4 AM before you head out for your morning safari at the park and he’ll be present overseeing the delicious food that’s sourced locally from farms around the property. Safaris can get very tiring and the Lodge provides a variety of spa services to rejuvenate the body! The food at Jaagir was delicious! Chef Govind Singh was firing on all cylinders churning out delectable dishes from his native Rajasthan to cuisines spanning the country! His dinner thaali was a huge hit during my stay. I quite enjoyed his banana flower vegetable dish as well!! The Jaagir Lodge is like that secret you want no one to know about because they wouldn’t believe you. And that is exactly why I’ve written this review, for people to know that a place like this exists and that they need to come visit and experience it for themselves.

Mom & I stayed here for three nights. It was happiness from the word GO. We got booked in the suite cottage - 207. The suite is so beautifully & very very tastefully done, with a fine eye for detailed signature of comfort & luxury. The property is vast , & Mornings are a delight. There are litchi & ***go farms around , and we enjoyed taking long walks in the farms around. We did the morning safari with Pratap , & I fell in love with Dudhwa National park. Pratap takes all the time to explain SO SO much about the terrain & the flora and fauna . He is such a sweetheart. Our room attendant , Mohan, was so so prompt in everything we needed. Always smiling ,always PRESENT. 😁 The food is totally OMG. Govind, the chef, is magical. Veg or non veg, it was finger licking stuff all days. & His personal presence everytime we went for meals was very warm gesture. It took us around 9 hours from Gurgaon by road. But in four words - IT WAS WORTH IT. 😁 IT WAS A DREAM STAY. Love ~ B .

What a beautiful Lodge in the middle of nowhere. One of the best housekeeping I can say. Chef Govind is one of the best asset of Jagir Lodge as he keeps cooking best dishes one after another. Three nights would be an ideal stay at Jagir Lodge. Overall its worth a visit and Dudhwa National Park must be on visit list for every nature loving person. Jaidev
