西埃德蒙頓購物中心旅館(West Edmonton Mall Inn)

This was a convenient place for us to stay, close to our niece for a visit. The staff were very nice, welcoming and friendly. However, the Inn is very old and it shows. It needs fresh carpets, paint and although the lady preparing the free breakfast was wonderful, the facilities and variety of food was very poor. It was set up in what appeared to be a converted hotel room on the 3rd floor, so not very roomy for the number of guests attending. There was pancakes, toast, boiled eggs, some yogurt and fruit and coffee. We didn't bother, especially as there was a lineup out into the hallway.

It's really close to the Edmonton mall but the hotel is quite old, definitely some enhancements. No breakfast provided because of COVID.

Great for walking to mall - unfortunately hotel didn’t have drink machine working so make sure to bring drinks for each night. Hotel was quiet up until weekend when we had a child or someone stomping and running in the room above us but luckily we travel with ear plugs so we managed. Good average hotel - not the comfiest beds but not the worst we have stayed in.

We were on the third floor and it was very loud in the morning being right beside the breakfast room. It was very dirty, there was garbage left from previous guests in the bathroom and main area, the duvet was dirty and there were just stains everywhere. The location however is great so I guess that’s why you pay so much for such a low quality hotel.

The staff were amazing. It was clean and is in an excellent location to WEM. Parking was great, the breakfast was very good. One thing they should improve is that the door cards would deactivate often. The front desk staff were great about reprogramming them but it was a very big inconvenience.

The hotel is well located right across from the West Edmonton Mall, so great for shopping. The breakfast was not great. There was not much variety and as things ran out, items weren't replenished even though a staff member was in the room. The curtain in our room was ripped, making it difficult to block out the morning light. We were supposed to stay five nights, but checked out after three nights. The staff were understanding and accommodating.

Loud parties from walk in guests who first asked if a credit check was required to book a room… should have been the staffs first red flag… unsafe property, people come in and out of the hotel and slip fliers under the door for food establishments. Staff were rude and didn’t make eye contact with anyone.. dirty rooms, candy bar wrappers under the bed skirts, wall paper with stains dripping down the walls. Horrible
