曼賽菲爾德酒店(The Mansefield Hotel)

My wife and I stayed in 'The Bothy' for 14 nights, visiting family based nearby. The Bothy is like a studio apar**ent, having the normal amenities of a room plus a small kitchenette area. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. For us, the restaurant is the heart of the hotel and it did not disappoint. We didn't plan to have all our evening meals in the restaurant but having sampled the menu, we couldn't tear ourselves away, except on one occasion to dine at the 'Orrin', which is also highly recommended. We took all our breakfasts in the hotel too which were glorious. From full Scottish to cereal and yoghurt. No horrible buffet crush here, it was all very civilised with table service. The staff are wonderful, being competent and efficient but with a lovely blend of friendliness and professionalism. They really are an incredible asset and they all added to the enjoyment of our stay. The hotel public areas are exquisitely styled and comfortable. The bar area is inundated with hundreds of whisky bottles in display cases, highlighting the important relationship between the hotel and the ubiquitous whiskey industry around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already chosen to stay at The Mansefield next summer for our annual visit to see our family. Thanks Ella and Team. With much admiration, Tim and Rio

Really good stay in one of the apar**ents. I’d say the upstairs apar**ents feel more spacious than the ground floor. It was perfect for what we needed. The reason for the 5 star review is service. Fantastic service at the whole hotel and especially the restaurant team. Really accommodating and attentive. The apar**ents are cleaned and refreshed to a very high standard each day. Only thing I’d change - go for a bigger bed in such a big space and better pillows.

I got this booking for my wife as a surprise. We travelled by train and it was easy travel. Hotel on whole the staff was friendly hotel was good value for money . you got a repeat guest

We stayed in the 2 bed apar**ent which was perfect for the 4 of us. It was such a great space and felt nice to have your own living and kitchen areas to relax in. Beds were comfortable, apar**ent was spotless and we had all the facilities we needed for the stay. We stayed 2 nights and we were surprised but pleased that on night 2 our towels were changed and essentials (coffee, toiletries etc) were refreshed. Check in and out were both quick and easy, staff all lovely and friendly. Breakfast was spot on!! Really good Scottish breakfast. Set us up for the day. This was our first stay in Elgin and the hotel was recommended by a friend. We will definitely be back if we find ourselves in that area again. We had a family wedding outwith the hotel but next time we look forward to sitting in the bar at Mansefield and having dinner in the restaurant. Unfortunately this time we didn’t have the time. Stayed at the Mansfield hotel for the first time as it was my husbands birthday. Beautiful hotel,excellent food and wonderful staff. Our room spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed, great night sleep and a delicious breakfast in the morning Highly recommend

My third stay for business and my number one choice for the area. The whole hotel is noticeably very clean, and when you stay in many hotels then this one sticks out as being spotless. The bedrooms are huge and the beds are very comfortable. The staff offer a great service and no request is an inconvenience. The night porter is fantastic (and hilarious). Very well stocked whisky bar. Great breakfast including gluten free options for me. We've hosted a business conference here in the past and the setting and service was brilliant, so would also recommend this service. (Some Scottish GF beer would be my only recommendation, especially now there are so many that everyone can drink)😉

had our wedding here the apar**ents are absolutely stunning and ella went above and beyond to give us our perfect day the food was amazing all the people at the wedding raved about the food 10/10 loved it so glad we picked here

We had the most amazing stay. I thought I had already done a review but I have not seen it yet so am doing one again. The staff were so friendly and efficient. The food was amazing with cooked to order breakfast which is so rarely seen now in hotels. The room was very comfortable with two comfortable chairs which you don’t get in most hotels. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Thank you so much from two happy Shetlanders.
