波圖斯卡拉村莊酒店(Porto Skala Hotel Village)

Staff muito simpático e prestável, limpeza impecável, quarto de um otimo tamanho com duas varandas grandes com mesa e cadeiras, cama e almofadas muito confortáveis. A pequeno almoço e jantar a comida e as sobremesas eram otimas, bem confecionadas e sempre variadas. Todo o espaco envolvente é muito bonito e bem cuidado. Ponto negativo, ao efetuar a reserva foi-nos dito que a meio do dia haveria um buffet de snacks (sandwiches, saladas, pizzas) e a unica coisa que nos deram foram sandwiches mas que as nossas crianças que não gostam de queijo e fiambre não comiam. Ainda pedimos se poderiam arranjar para as crianças ovos mexidos ou nuggets mas foram irredutiveis e disseram-nos que era so o que tinham.

Een heel heel leuk hotel vlak bij de zee elke kamer heeft uitzicht op zee , zeer proper en zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam , we hebben eenmaal het avond eten genomen het was super lekker , het ontbijt hadden we iedere dag heel veel keus heel vers alles gewoon super goed zeker een aanrader .

Τα δωμάτια ήταν λες και έκανα ταξίδι στο χρόνο και έφτασα 80's - 90's Το wifi δεν συνδέθηκε ποτέ από καμία συσκευή που είχα Το πρωινό σε μπουφέ με αρκετές επιλογές αλλά η ποιότητα μέτρια Η καθαριότητα και το πολύ φιλικό προσωπικό ήταν στα θετικά του. Σήμα κινητής τηλεφωνίας δεν έχει ούτε η vodafone ούτε η cosmote. Κάτι πολύ σημαντικό για κάποιον που θέλει να ελέγχει την επιχείρηση του και να μην μείνει αποκομμένος.

Si paga anticipatamente il totale 100% Il giorno di partenza in aeroporto a Bergamo la solerte addetta 162 della grande Ryanair, con check-in eseguito e posti assegnati in priorità, ci impedisce l’imbarco all’ultimo per documenti covid incompleti. In correttezza e convinzione che in Hotel come normale ci attendessero, li si cerca di chiamare per avvisare e programmare l’arrivo col volo seguente due giorni dopo o possibilmente in altre date. Seguono numerose telefonate e pure mail (ovviamente numeri ed indirizzi presenti sul loro sito web). INVANO. Nessuna risposta per telefono che suona libero. Nessuna risposta a mail. Questo il trattamento riservatoci dal Porto Skala Hotel and Village 4* di Kefalonia, l’hotel fantasma, dove una volta incassati i soldi TUTTI e VERI, in cambio NON avrete neppure un bicchiere di acqua e manco una parola.... anche voi emeriti sconosciuti e fantasmi.

We just returned and had a great time in this hotel. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Suited us perfectly as a family with two kids, age 9&11. The room was simple but all we needed. Safe, air conditioning, balcony with sea view, mini fridge and shower. Comfy beds though the top bunk was slightly rickety. We were lucky enough to have a mama cat and her two young kittens living near to our room and they were a delight. Breakfast was fab, the gentleman hosting clearly took care to keep everything in order and stocked. The team did a great job. Delicious fresh biscuits and pastries each day, bread and a selection of jams, cereals and a variety of hot and cold savoury items which changed each day. Juices, coffee machine, selection of teas. Pretty much all you need. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the sea was a great start to the day. Beautiful views, the pool was spacious and clean and plenty of sun beds. You could tell they had just opened for the start of the season but everything was still running smoothly. The pool bar had a good selection of drinks and ice creams. The items get charged to your room but you can check the balance any time and settle up part way if needed. We used the shuttle bus to get into town, it runs regularly but make your plans and book your seat in advance. €1.50 pp each way. On the way back you can also get a taxi from the rank in town (€7 each way). Or walk back and stop off in one of the beach bars on the way up. Amnos was our fave pit stop. There are two lovely coves across the road, one accessed via the car park and down some steps. The other via steps leading to a precarious wooden bridge. Relaxing spots and fun to bob around with snorkels. Beach shoes recommended. A decent walk to town, maybe 40mins but only 10mins until you reach the nearest taverna and then on you’ll pass various different places/supermarket/patisserie/bars as you walk down. Plenty of choice for restaurants, bars and shops in Skala. For ice cream, we loved the gelato shop up the Main Street. The owner makes the products himself and lets you try as many as you like. Some gorgeous vegan gelato options. We did a boat trip with Captain Vangelis over to Ithaca. Would definitely recommend. We visited Vathy and Kioni and they were both beautiful. We also got a taxi over to Katelios (approx €20) and there are some pretty restaurants on the beach to enjoy. Overall a great holiday and we would certainly return!

Porto Skala Village Hotel is now a dim shadow of its former self. My family have been staying at the hotel on a total of four occasions starting 24 years ago, then it was bright, charming, simple but clean and spacious accommodation. After a break of 10 years we decided to go this September and what a mistake. There has been a very distinct decline in every aspect of the hotel. Evenings were once splendid at the pool bar with entertainment, where the guests broke the ice and got to know one another during after dinner drinks or coffees., I think we had one after dinner drink, that was it. The poolside is now dark and most unwelcoming, everything that made this place warm, charming and comfortable has seen decline and I am sorry that we did not just leave our good memories.

Stayed here end of September and it was lovely and quiet, rooms were basic but clean. Plenty of tasty food and very helpful staff. Our transfer to the airport didn’t leave till 6pm and they allowed to keep our room til we left at no extra charge. About a 40 min walk to Skala, there are bars to stop at on the way down and I would definitely recommend Nautilus fish restaurant for lunch/tea, fabulous! Several secluded bays right outside the hotel that are great for snorkelling, some of the access is tricky but it’s worth it!
