斯卡拉馬基斯酒店(Makis Hotel)

Ce qui est bien: - la localisation pour visiter l'île ( le point le plus éloigné est à 1H30 de voiture) et laisser votre voiture, vous avez tout sur place pour diner le soir et boire des verres, la plage super agréable, avec les transat ( +15 euros / jour) - les chambres : spacieuses, literie de qualité, avec balcon, - super propreté : tous les jours changement de serviette si besoin - la piscine : très belle - le sourire du garçon à la plage Ce qui est moins bien - absence de "service " : pas de bouteille d 'eau en arrivant 4 capsules de café, il faut en redemander à la réception. - le néon de sécurité dans la chambre : laisse un éclairage constant extrêmement fort la nuit - le petit déjeuner : une catastrophe. C'est l'antithèse du service à la grèque. 1°) C'est un ensemble de produits industriels sans qualité, qui n'ont rien à voir avec Kefalonia : pas une seule confiture locale, ou yaourt grec, jus d'orange ( rien d'autre), cake maison, friand au fromage : tout sort de Metro (cash carry) ou Lidl. 2°) 8h-10h : ne venez pas à 9H15 il ne reste presque plus rien 3°) café ou eau chaude ? vous n'aurez que cela et il n'est pas bon 4°) oeuf sur le plat...ou oeuf sur le plat ? ( en 11 jours) On a adressé un mail à la réception pour s'en plaindre au bout de 3 jours : aucune réponse ! - la musique à fond en fin d'après midi à la piscine qu'on entend de la chambre jusqu'à 21h

Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, πεντακάθαρα και άνετα δωμάτια .. το προσωπικό είναι πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό και οτιδήποτε χρειαστείς είναι διαθέσιμοι να στο φέρουν!!το ξενοδοχείο είναι ακριβώς πάνω στη θάλασσα και διαθέτει πισίνα και μεγάλο parking. Είναι κατάλληλο για οικογένειες . Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα !! Ευχαριστούμε πολύ για τη φιλοξενία ❤️

We were lucky to stay 3 weeks this year in this lovely hotel. Lia and staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble, unfortunately we lost a few days due to the storm that hit Greece but it did not deter in any way our enjoyment as the hotel pulled down wind Procters and stayed upbeat and professional and always with a smile. Food was great at breakfast and lunch plus the Greek night was great fun. We love it so much here that I am already booked for May with my daughter and 2 grandchildren and again with my husband in August, this hotel is perfectly situated across the road from the beach and a 5 minute walk to bars shops and lots of lovely tavernas, this hotel is a must if staying in Skala.

We’ve just returned from 9:days with Jet 2 at the Makis Hotel in Skala. By Greek standards, what a delightful hotel. A great team of enthusiastic and friendly staff, the hotel is really clean and has a great pool area. Compared to some Greek hotels, the room was a good size. The only criticism would be the lack of storage particularly in the bathroom. Location wise this was excellent, literally right opposite the beach ( sun beds 15 euroflr 2 ) and only a short stroll into Skala and the local shops and restaurants

I will preface my remarks by saying that I have never before felt the need to write a review such as this and have always attempted to see through minor deficiencies and not present myself as a grumpy old man. We have just returned from a 9 night stay at The Makis Hotel in Skala. We arrived close to midnight and were shown to our room (403) and were stunned to see the basic nature of our accommodation. Even at that late hour I felt it impossible to ignore, such was my wife's anguish at seeing where we were expected to spend our holiday. I was told that there were no other rooms available to switch to. Briefly what followed the next day was our discovery of a leaking toilet, non functioning air conditioning system, broken mosquito net covering for the window and dirty floors under and around the beds. With no senior management available to pursue these matters with during our 9 days we had no choice but to make the most of an extremely limited space with no shelving in the shower/toilet areas to place even basic toiletries. The view from our tiny outside space was of a huge brick wall and this further matched our impression of a prison cell block rather than a set of holiday rooms. The young staff were friendly and helpful where they could be but seemed unable to address our issues. I had neither the inclination, will, or personality to go into raving anger mode and so we made the best of an appalling situation. The pictures of the refurbished rooms elsewhere in the hotel only served to heighten our gloom at the comparison between these and our shabby circumstances. We travelled on a Jet2 holiday and if they actually inspect and approve rooms such as ours before selling them to their clients as part of a package they did us a terrible disservice. Final thing to mention and it matters not to me what people may make of my review but when the "hot" elements of a buffet cooked breakfast are left uncovered and barely luke warm you know you are not staying in quality accommodation.

Booked this for 10 days in September. Lovely clean and comfortable hotel. Great Bar and lovely Pool but most of all the fantastic friendly Staff. Very professional and friendly. Would come again in a heart beat. The Beach is also very good, clean and safe.

Have just stayed at the Makis Hotel and can not recommend it enough, our room was modern, minimalist and spotlessly clean. The pool area and bar were also well set out, spotless and clean, all the staff were really friendly and couldn't help enough. Breakfast was buffet style with the most gorgeous view over the beach and sea beyond. We want to know where mattresses are from as had the most comfortable night sleep.ever. The locaction of the hotel is just perfect, overlooking the sea, five minutes walk to main area of tavernas and shops we couldn't have been happier, would highly recommend Makis and we will definitely visit you again. This is our 6th 2 week visit. A lovely friendly clean hotel. Small and stylish but not pretentious. We visit late May/June and again late August/September. Breakfast is buffet style and always plentiful. Swimming pool is lovely and immediately across the road is Skala beach. We eat out in the many good restaurants in Skala village. Lia manages the hotel and is a great hostess. We always book direct and Lia books our taxi’s from and to the airport.
