All checked in and getting settled in. We turned TV on and it was on a Latino channel (we thought). Switching to other channels and all were speaking in Spanish. Could find no way to switch language to English. Off to the front desk and the lady informed me there was no one available to 'fix' the problem. She switched us to a different room where the TV was speaking English. My thanks to the lady who helped us.
Later as I was preparing to bathe, the shower mechanism was new to me and it took a while before I could figure it out. Maybe that was just me. But I did finally get it to work.
The following morning, my spouse and I decided to try the free breakfast. A fairly good selection was offered, but no eggs. I attempted to get pancakes from a fully automatic pancake making machine. As luck would have it, the display popped up a 'device overheating message'. I went to front desk and the man who investigated advised me that he had to contact the manufacturer and it was necessary for that company to send out a technician. Sorry, no pancakes that morning.
I really understand these kinds of things happened but all in all the motel provided a comfortable nights rest, which is the primary reason we stayed there. So, yes, I probably would stay there again.
