We drove from Ohio expecting fun but were surprised by unstoppable excitement. The moment you arrive the welcome desk was splendid to indicate all the steps to enjoy and become a new member of the pack of wolves The morning was enjoyed with a delicious buffet with limited options but great flavor, and once bellies were full and rested we couldn’t have imagined that jumping in and out of the water would not get us tired. And the late night disco fever for kids was unbeatable. Three magical days went by flying and it was time to get out of the water and leave the pack for future… soon enough… new visit

The first night was OK. We arrived a little late. The2nd day we had house keeping opening up are door after we told them prior we didn't want to be disturbed. Then at the water park area there was a child unattended in the adult section. No one cared. Then that night are t.v wasn't working. Called front desk pretty much told us we were screwed until tomorrow. Thankfully we finally got it to connect. Then in the morning housekeeping was going down are hall way at 9a.m yelling HOUSEKEEPING, Remind u checkout is at 11 a.m . When we spoke to the manager Erin she was friendly and nice and took $50 off our room. But $50 for a 3 day stay and had problems each just didn't seem right. I recommend that u go somewhere else for a family getaway this placed looks good and has a lot to offer but in my opinion they could run it along better. I don't usually write reviews but we spent a lot of money for along weekend to not enjoy are selfs . Stay away spend your money somewhere were they care about there visitors!!!

Cash is not accepted. Teens could not visit the arcade, bowling alley, or even the gift shop without taking a credit card. You can buy a loadable debit card, but risk having unspent money. Our daughter brought her own money, but nope, still had to treat her as a baby and walk her around.

Weather was not amazing, but you didn't have to leave the building for anything. Everyone was friendly willing to help. Clean clean clean! Grand kids love the water park. Magic quest is in need of some serious updating. Took two days to get the wand to work to complete the quest. As much as folks like to play this game and sink a ton of money to play it, it seems like the company can invest in new technology.

We just got back into town after spending one night at this resort. We checked in on 12/26. It was our first ever visit with two very excited daughters, ages 4 and 6. We have long wanted to visit this place and now that it’s all said and done, I doubt we will be back. Ultimately, this place screams potential. It SHOULD be fun, but the customer service fails across the board. While you can’t get into your room until 4pm, you can arrive early and use the water park. We did, got there about 2pm, and were told we could rent a cabana for $300 for the rest of the day. We decided why not and got it. I’ve rented cabanas at numerous hotels / resorts - this is the first time no one checks in on you, no one provided any type of service, no one even verifies if you are supposed to be there. Ordering food from the restaurant via app, then having to go pick it up, while the staff at the restaurant says nothing to you, not even if your food is ready, should have been the first sign things were not up to par. On top of that, we were billed full price for the cabana after being told it would be $300 - we will be calling them first thing in the morning to get that corrected. The water park has cool slides my 6 yr old and I really enjoyed, but there’s just too many people, and too few workers, to keep things in order. It’s just a mass of kids running around, cutting lines, jumping in the pool, with no one there to help keep things in order. Shame on the parents for sure, but additional workers could help immensely. The dressing room / bathrooms in the water park were not clean. Again, more workers could help keep things in order. We paid for the brunch package - when we went through the line, the fresh fruit and eggs were completely empty. They did eventually refill these, but it was roughly 10 kin after we went through the buffet line. At the end of the day, I was there for 22 hours or so - checked in about 2pm yesterday, left at 12:30 today. My total cost of this stay is staggering considering everything that adds up - not to mention what I paid at Build a Bear and the arcade. If you are interested in giving this place a shot, think long and hard if you want to deal with some pretty poor customer service. I hear there’s an excellent alternative in Ohio.

During 2020 I been to great wolf lodge during the pandemic and I loved at great wolf lodge i swim there I went bowling there two it was so fun i also saw the wolf reading a book at great wolf lodge i also took a picture with him i cant find the picture but for real I met him I rate this a 4 out of 5 I loved it

The resort was excellant , though not a particularly good fit for my wife and I. It is a resort that really focuses on children and does a great job with that, but really was no more than a hotel for us. Apparently we didn't do our homework before booking. But it was in a great location and though the children activities were of no use to us, we were comfortable. we were disappointed that the fitness center had been dropped.

My husband and I stayed two nights as we were visiting Traverse City and wanted a hotel with a hot tub. Our kids are grown and I know that waterpark resorts are always super kid-oriented, but this particular resort could do better for all the adults that visit, whether alone or with their kids in tow. The waterpark hours are 10 am to 8 pm. Even the adults-only hot tub closes at 8 p.m. This negated our reason for staying here, as we usually like to hit the hot tub early in the morning or late evening after running around all day. On the one day that we braved the waterpark to get to the hot tub, we found the waterpark itself challenging to navigate around as you always seem to be walking in one attraction to get to the next. The adults' hot tub was nice, but again, it would have been nicer had we been able to use it more. It would be great if the resort added some "adults only" hours, either before or after their posted hours. All of the other waterpark features are geared toward smaller children. We also stopped in the game room which was way more expensive than any other we have been to. We had the breakfast buffet one morning. The posted price is $16.99 per person. We were charged $14.99 each but then were also charged $3.99 each for two cups of coffee and then were never given any refills despite being in the dining room for about 45 minutes. We got a pizza one night, and that was a great deal at about $23 for a huge pizza. The sweets in the shop next to the pizza place were delicious and fairly priced. All told it is a cute and clean resort if your kids are under 10, if you are okay with the limited waterpark hours, and if you have plenty of cash for all of the other things (arcade, Build-A-Bear, bowling, etc.) that your kiddos will want to do. As a side note, we were traveling for my birthday. The attendant that checked us in on arrival insisted I wear a second wristband which was red sparkles and read "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" and I obliged. Not once in the three days we were there did anyone acknowledge my birthday band. I, of course, did not care, but I am left to wonder if they acknowledge the kiddos that are there for their birthdays. Otherwise, I am unsure of the purpose of that extra wristband. If you are on an adult-only trip, stay somewhere else.

Stayed 2 nights in October mid week . Stay was great , room was clean and spacious , we had a wolf Den suite. What they need to work on is the check in. I was told on three occasions to come back one time at 1 when they assured me my room would be ready then again to come back in 15 mins and it would be good to go and then the same thing a third time . I understand that I was early and they don’t guarantee early check in but don’t tell me to come back when you know it won’t be ready .funny thing with all of it was that if I was willing to pay 59$ that Same room I waited for 90 mins was ready … lol Overall it was good but that check process needs to be worked on . Can’t Imagine what would happen if it was busy . One more thing that needs to be made aware is that the water park slides / areas are not open all the time . They said it was due to staffing issues but I call bs on that . If they can’t offer all the facilities due to staffing don’t charge full price for the stay.
