My friend and I stayed in twin room. Waa very impressed with the service given and the room itself was perfect for us staying over for one night for a Christmas get together in Portsmouth. We would definitely recommend and go back again to stay. Using this app, was quick and easy I shall be using again in the near future. Thank you :)

Hotel great value. Staff very friendly and accommodating but needs more staff behind bar as food orders are also taken there and waiting time for drinks are to long as food orders were taking priority over bar customers other wise very polite and friendly.

Very old, tired looking overall. Free WiFi was useless. The bar staff on Tuesday night were great. Breakfast on Thursday was poor due to pricing, online price was £2.50 for the scrambled eggs on toast got that and a cup of tea came to payment it suddenly became £9! So it costs £6.50 for a cuppa? Queried this and the answer was that's the price on the till. Well, will not be back there again!

Friendly and helpful staff on arrival.
Room was very dated and in need of refurbishment.
Loose sink tap, loose toilet flush.
Bed was clean and comfortable but the noise from the room above was so bad I had to sleep with earplugs in.
Definitely wouldn’t stay again or recommend it.

Light out in room,not rectified,light out in bathroom, unable to shower,no bulb in reading light, creaking floorboards,no apology call from managers as promised,no goodwill gesture,will not stay there again.

No hot water on 2 of the nights ( so a cold shower )
Food one night was poor another night ok

Condition of rooms clean but needs an upgrade. Things broken in room.

Decent hotel for the price. Good sound proofing/ soft closing room doors, nice TV, bar and pub grub attached.
Only negative is the traffic to get to the motorway 2 miles away takes 15/20 minutes in the morning.

Annoying, only one bedside table.
Evening meal, never had fish as tasteless. Mushroom and ale pie, a lot of air inside, not many mushrooms. Chips and gravy, excellent.
Greene king pub that has run out of all greene king beers except IPA, unacceptable.
