鑽石海岸酒店(Diamond Coast Hotel)

Es ist nicht einfach in dieser Gegend von Irland ein gutes Hotel zu finden. Unsere Wahl fiel auf das Diamond Coast. Zunächst: dies ist ein Familienhotel, es waren irische Sommerferien bei unserem Aufenthalt. Das Hotel bietet einige Angebote für Familien. Dementsprechend war das Hotel voll mit Eltern und ihren Kindern. Das spricht nicht gegen das Hotel, sollte man aber vorher wissen. Der Hotelbau an sich wirkt in dier Jahre gekommen - einladend sieht anders aus. Dieser Eindruck setzt sich innen fort. Unser Zimmer war groß und sauber, aber auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Preis war wohl saisonbedingt. Die Preise und die Karte im Restaurant und in der "Bar" waren nahezu identisch - im Zweifel konnte man alles ordern. Die "Bar" - voll mit Kindern war nicht sauber, im Restaurant war es besser. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war nicht gegeben. Das Hotel lebt von den mangelnden Alternativen im Ort nebenan. Im Gegensatz zu der Aussage auf der Webseite konnte man nichts aus der Küche zum Frühstück ordern - es gab nur das Buffet. Das Personal war wirklich ignorant - es war ein Kampf, einen Kaffee zu bekommen. Alles in allem: mehr als 3 Sterne sind nicht drin.

Great service, friendly and the breakfast was fabulous! Lovely touch with the Welcome cake! We didn’t eat at the hotel although while we were waiting for our room the smells of the dinner were delicious so I’m sure it would have been lovely too. We spent the evening chatting at the bar. The bar staff, Ciaran was good fun and a really attentive server! The breakfast the next morning was beautiful, I recommend the Eggs Benedict, delicious!

We had the pleasure of sampling the new menu last Monday night in the Diamond Coast Hotel in Enniscrone....OMG it was out of this world!.....every dish served was very tasty and of the highest quality....loved the vegan and vegetarian dishes....well done to the Chef,Staff and Management for their welcome we received on arrival ....would highly recommend.

We had a fabulous 4 nights. A great welcome at reception, very warm & inviting. Rooms are big, clean & comfy. Great selection at breakfast & good food in the bar. Superb location. Looking forward to our return trip.

Always find my stay very relaxing. Maybe I have been lucky but I have never experienced noise that disrupted my night's sleep. Staff always helpful and friendly and breakfast always has a good variety on offer.

We had our wedding here and it was amazing. Everything went so smoothly and Mary and her team made sure everything was perfect. We had countless guests telling us how great the venue is and how amazing the staff was. Mary was in regular contact in the year leading up to the wedding and made sure we were happy with everything. All the rooms are huge which helped us all get ready. We also did a day two here and Mary got us all set up with a location and private band. Also worth noting it was much better value than any other venue we looked at.

We had our wedding in the Diamond Coast highly recommend as a wedding venue and the wedding co ordinator Mary Clarke is exceptional helped us at every stage along the way Orla Gordon and all the staff couldn't do enough for us amazing food + acc

4 of us went down for the 2 night golf deal. The staff of the Diamond Coast were excellent, very helpful. The room we shared was good and got a great nights sleep. Breakfast and evening meals were very tasty. Ciaran behind the bar kept us well serviced. And the Hotel is only a short 3 minute drive to Enniscrone Golf links, in fact you can walk to it.

So, once again we travelled to the Diamond for a couple of days golf and relaxation. Golf was tough due to the rail end of storm Elizabeth buffeting us around the course so the less said about that the better lol Anyway, this hotel just gets better and better as the years go by. The staff are just superb. Orla, running reception is just soooo nice and efficient and is what all receptionists should aspire to be. Bridget along with Mags at breakfast 10/10. Kenneth and Clive in dining 10/10. The food was superb. Top quality steaks, super fish & chips and delicious Buttered Chicken. What more could one ask for. Great accommodation We'll be back
