伊利萬豪TownePlace酒店(TownePlace Suites Erie)

Staff was very, very friendly and helpful.. cannot say enough. I was in town for a marathon and they allowed an extra hour for late checkout which was much appreciated. The hotel does seem to be a little bit "tired" and is probably in need of some updating but overall the staff was so amazing I would definitely stay there again!

This hotel was tucked away behind several other hotels. It had plenty of parking and it was close to restaurants and shopping. The staff was friendly. The hotel is showing some wear. The A/C unit in our room was leaking very badly. The front desk clerk provided us towels and put in a maintenance request. The room was fairly clean , but again showed signs of damage/wear. There were obvious signs that the hotel was suffering from a staff shortage. Despite the shortage of help, the staff was very friendly.

On Marriott's TownePlace website, they claim they "give you everything you need to feel right at home". NOT. We have booked at the Marriott many times in the past, however to our surprise, this TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Erie, PA was by far the most disappointing experience. Bathroom amenities tray .... empty (not even a soap bar is provided). Shower bodywash bottle .... empty. Hairdryer.... broken. However we were given a replacement but it only blew cold air. Complimentary breakfast was ok but when we tried to make waffles, the waffle spray oil ....... empty. Wall outlets so worn out you second guess if your devices are recharging. Considering the fact you pay more for a Marriott room and compared to other hotel chains, we would have been better off at a 1.5 star hotel than this one. Never again.

The check in was not great. The room was not ready at 2, or 3, and was finally ready at 4:15. The employees at check in did not seem to enjoy kids at the property as they spent 10 minutes explaining all of the things kids cannot do even though i am a parent. The check in was do awful it put a stain on the rest of the stay. I would look for a different property if i were to return to Erie.

Can’t beat the location. Next to Millcreek Mall and near upper Peach St, which is where all big box is located. Came in to do marathon Chris**as shopping. Lots of parking. Kitchenette nice but no amenities anymore. Continental breakfast decent.

Power was out at check in so we made arrangements at another hotel across the highway where the power was on. Hotel then refused to reimburse me because they said the power came back on within three hours lol. So what? Are we supposed to hang out in the lobby until the power comes back on? They said they couldn’t make key cards or do anything because the data and power were out. It’s outrageous to think anyone would sit in a hotel lobby with a bunch of other people and wait for the electricity to come back on. They even said they have no idea when power would be restored.

Room was nice but needs updating. Bathroom outlet didn’t work & body wash dispenser had fallen off the shower. The elevator was really in need of a broom.

The staff were unresponsive when told of the noise of kids from a Hockey tournament running in the halls and stairwells at night

The Suite was well equipped with everything you would need if you were staying for an extended time. The breakfast was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were i and out for just 1 night but it was fine.
