Overall, a good value place to stay. As other reviews have said, the decor is a little dated, but perfectly acceptable, and the apartment was as clean as one would hope. End of June was unexpectedly quiet, but in a good way. Bus to Mahon runs hourly from the bottom of the road (5 mins walk) and is Euro 1.80 each way. Plenty of space to park if you hire a car. Some great restaurants in the town (recommend Casa Fermin) and a great beach. Only minor issue was the air-con wasn't great, but hey ... it's 32 degrees in June in the Med ... so we knew what to expect. Breeze through the apartment cooled it in the day, just a bit warm overnight. Would definitely go back.

Initially I was in a room which was extremely cramped (I am a slim person and had trouble moving between the bed and the desk), the A/C did not work, the fan did not work, the seal on the glass door did not work - which flooded the bathroom, the vent in the bathroom did not work. After having to plead with the front desk staff for a different room and bring up the website which says that there are A/C and working fans, which was initially dismissed by the staff, I was moved to a different room which had all of the same issues except the fan in this room did work. Unfortunately the new room did not have any outdoor space and the vent for my room was located next to the plumbing for what I can only assume was the entire hotel because the sound of water moving was constant. I was informed by the staff that the A/C was not turned on - so that was an outright lie in advertising; then told by the staff to open my window if I wanted cooler air; when I opened my window while taking a shower, about 45 bugs entered my room and were on the ceiling so I was not able to kill them and had to have them in my room for the rest of my stay. On top of all of this, I had a stay with 2 rooms for a total of 17 nights and the staff would not give me any bottles of water that are part of the rewards program. I was point blank told by the staff that if I checked out and checked back in that I could then have the water, as it would only be rewarded during my next stay, but not during.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the accommodation, it was clean and great location and in the weeks stay we had towel and bedding change done 3 times which was very much appreciated. The location was a little noisy until about midnight, probably wouldn't be an issue for most people but with a young child we were in bed by 9ish most nights, luckily my little one slept brilliantly and after the first night I just used my headphones as ear plugs and had a great night's sleep every night. On the subject of noise....the walls are very thin and noise does travel. We did have a very noisy neighbour on the 1st day, who were a little noisy during their affectionate times, slightly awkward and just something to be aware of if you're going as a couple! The pool area was great, perfect for a little one as it is very shallow and we had the area completely to ourselves every day, also free WiFi in this area for guests. The beds were much bigger than the standard single you usually get, I'd say 3/4 size and comfortable. Yes the rooms were a little dated, but for the price for better than I was expecting. Completely functional and clean. There was a ceiling fan and little electrical heater supplied which really heated the space up. Even in 43+ degrees the room was pleasantly cool. Good sized fridge, only hot plates and microwave though for cooking but lovely local restaurants literally a 30 second walk away. My wife and I had a lovely two-week holiday at HG Jardin de Menorca. Everything about our trip was perfect (hats off to Jet2 Holidays too). The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everyone spoke good English and tolerated my attempts at speaking Spanish. Wi-Fi was excellent throughout the hotel, including our room and even the pool area. We stayed in a Superior Junior Suite, room 2A101. It had everything that we could need, including UK TV channels (sometimes there was some flickering but nothing to get fussed about), hob, fridge, microwave etc. The room was very clean and tidy, with a very comfortable bed. Loads of hanging space and room for all your stuff. It was cleaned every day, including new towels. The shower was great, tons of hot water and great pressure. We had a good view over the pool area, and sometimes sat there just watching the world go by. The grounds were immaculate with grass areas all round the pool and lovely palm trees everywhere. The pool area was well laid out with lots of loungers and parasols. There was a lifeguard on duty all day, every day too. We stayed B/B and the breakfast was superb. A good mix of cereals, all sorts of breads (including a toaster), hams, cheeses, jams and coffee machines. Also a great range of hot stuff including a chef making eggs and bacon dishes. We ate at the hotel bar area (just next to the pool) a few times. It was great, with a mix of salads, burgers and local dishes. Everything we had was well presented and reasonable value. We had thunderstorms on a couple of days so we made use of the Fitness Room – a treadmill, stepper, cycle with multigym and free weights – everything you could need. We used the free local shuttle minibus a few times too: down and back to the beach area in Son Bou. We always booked to make sure we got a seat, and everything worked well. There is a well-stocked supermarket within the hotel complex and we found everything that we needed. Overall, we had a great time at the hotel. We would definitely go back: we couldn’t fault it at all.

在薩里下雨,我生日,不能有這個!我預訂了便宜的簡易噴氣式飛機,並預訂了Grupotel Mar de Menorca,因爲它在機場附近(出租車15分鐘)。考慮到全包的成本,我沒有期望太多,但非常驚喜。我來到一個熱烈的歡迎,找到了通往寬敞房間的道路。建築物都是白色的,棕櫚樹排列的小徑。游泳池周圍有很多日光浴牀。飲料和小吃全天供應,早餐,午餐和晚餐樓下,選擇豐富。附近有一個令人歎爲觀止的海灣,在海里游泳。我希望我能住更長的時間!
