拉斯登納斯奢華大酒店(Las Dunas Grand Luxury)

Estuvimos alojados en este hotel del 20 al 25 de septiembre. El hotel se vende como Gran Lujo *****. Me imagino que cuando lo abrieron pudo serlo, pero hoy en día es un 3 estrellas y punto. Supongo que el reclamo de este establecimiento será por el Health Spa, cuestión que no pude valorar, ya que casualmente estaba en obras de mejora. La llegada es engañosa , ofreciendo cualquier servicio que se necesite de fuera del hotel, a precio desconocido. Pretencioso, visto lo visto después. El alojamiento tiene 55 habitaciones, con una superficie, en nuestro caso Junior Suite, de 55 m2, tamaño da habitaciones de lujo de épocas pretéritas, pero con unas carencias tan evidentes como no disponer de ningún espejo en la habitación, que por sitio no era, salvo en el enorme baño, de un tamaño desmesurado, pero anclado en aquellos años 70 (la ducha es en cabina de obra, con una alcachofa de ducha a mas de 2 mts del suelo y con opciones mínimas de aprovechas la buena presión de agua, al menos si se llega a poder girar la salida de agua. ¡¡¡¡Pide a gritos una columna de chorros-masaje!!!). El servicio de restauración, no te lo encuentras ni en un hotel de 3 estrellas (disculpo al cantarín camarero Fernando, que manifiesta proactividad e implicación en el servicio). Los demás son de chiringuito de playa, escaso y malo. Las instalaciones están obsoletas, por no decir otra lindeza, después de comprobar una banco en uno de los pasillos, con tres plazas, con sus cojines tapando la destrozada malla de dos ellos, que si te sientas te cuelas por sus enormes agujeros. En defintiva, una verguenza que esto se venda con Gran Lujo, por ninguna de las cuestiones que llevan implícita esta categoría. Es entendible la casi ausencia absoluta de clientes en el hotel a lo largo de las cinco noches, disimulado por el equipo de rodaje y actores y actrices alojados en el establecimiento, que lo utilizaban con motivo de rodar escenas de una serie ambientada en un hotel de los años 70. ¡¡¡¡¡NO RECOMIENDEN ESTE ALOJAMIENTO!!!!!

Pésimo estado es una estafa de hotel,pone que es 5 estrella GL y no llega ni a 4 estrellas,para empezar no hay ni botones,las chicas de recepción lo hacen todo,no hay mantenimiento por lo menos yo no lo vi,la dueña pasa de todo, cuento mi experiencia allí,me quejo que no hay playa tal como indica en la web todo lo contrario que hay playa y los restaurantes todos abierto,mi sorpresa al llegar nada de nada todo cerrado solo el bar de la piscina y me dice la señora Vanessa por decirle señora que si no estoy de acuerdo que me marche,así que ya se porque el hotel estaba tan desierto,la comida poca variedad una carta más propia de un bar no de un hotel,lo que vi que no hay personal suficiente aunque claro si no hay gente para que quieren meter más gente y por último la piscina sin socorrista a partir de las 18:00 horas un horror de hotel para no volver nunca más.

The rooms are lovely & the setting is ideal, but that’s about it. The 1 restaurant (not 3) serves the same thing all day (same as a the room service menu) & is horrendously slow & over priced. The breakfast is slow & a very poor choice of options. The spa is fine if you like sauna/steam room but the pool/jacuzzi area is currently closed (they tried to deny it existed until I showed them the brochure from the room). For a mostly empty hotel the staff aren’t exactly jumping to help. Don’t bother trying to go into the indoor part of the restaurant - it’s empty & no staff go in there. It could be brilliant, but instead it’s a 3 star hotel in a 5* shell.

The room is lovely & spacious but be warned about the hotel facilities. There is only 1 restaurant which serves the same things for lunch & dinner so limited menu. There are 3 areas & in theory you can eat inside but there’s no one in there. Very slow service, took 30 mins for a green salad & drinks. The HealthHouse is currently closed so the indoor pool etc isn’t open despite there being a brochure in the room. The spa & trea**ent rooms are still open, but not the main indoor spa pool area. Nor is the Felix restaurant. Asked how to get to the pool/jacuzzi outside our room to be told that was for the apar**ents only. There is a main pool by the sea. You need a car as there are only a few restaurants in walking distance. For a 5 star hotel it has very limited facilities. Rooms are 5 star, hotel facilities are not. Ok for a 3 day break, but we’re staying a week & already running out of options.

Las Dunas is extremely elegant and comfortable. Loved our room, a suite overlooking the sea. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was large and luxurious. Las Dunas is located right on the sea, with the Gran Senda seaside path/promenade connecting Marbella with Estepona between the property and the sea making for wonderful (and mostly shaded) morning and evening strolls. We ate breakfasts at the spa's tables right on the beach and beside the Gran Senda, which is comfortably shaded by umbrellas and the lush foliage of the Gran Senda. It was a great experience. The clientele was also elegant, no rudeness or bad manners observed anywhere. The area in which Las Dunas is located, the "Golden Mile", is less crowded, quieter, and more refined than some of the other coastal resort communities of the Mediterranean. Great place to go if you want to feel "special" and for special occasions.

This is a beautiful hotel overlooking the sea with a wonderful Spa and pretty grounds. The staff were all very kind and attentive, they went out of their way to make our upcoming arrangements for a wedding memorable. We are looking forward to our stay here in May.

I travelled to Spain on my own to join a wedding party and was excited at the thought of a few days away from my family spent with special friends. The wedding party was staying at this hotel and on arrival everything seemed magical. Beautiful views greeted me and my room which was spacious and bright was ready upon arrival. I went to meet my friends by the pool and a few minutes later we went to sit at a table just outside the swimming pool located on the grass, front line to watch the waves and take in the sea air. We ordered some soft drinks and coffees and had a chat. One of my friends got up to use the ladies so we were left just the two of us when a gust of wind caused our umbrella to lift out of the base unexpectedly. My friends daughter who was sitting with me reacted intuitively and grabbed onto the pole but the wind was so strong that it caused the umbrella to fall on my right shoulder with a bang. Everything happened so quickly and in a matter of seconds and my friend who was walking back from the toilets ran into the restaurant asking for ice whilst a couple of waiters ran over and folded the umbrella. At no point did any of the staff ask whether assistance was needed and at that point none of us knew the damage to my shoulder. I sat there for a few minutes in shock from what had just happened and feeling grateful that the umbrella hadn’t landed on my head causing concussion. We spent the next 10-15 minutes observing the colour coming back to my face. I didn’t want to join my friends for lunch as my shoulder started to swell and I just wanted to cry so I urged them to go ahead and I started walking towards the room when a waiter ran after me and asked me to settle the bill. I was in total shock by the inconsiderate attitude, as I was clutching my shoulder which had already swelled whilst holding my beach bag trying to get to my room without crying in public. I went to reception and told them what had happened, how the umbrella hadn’t been secured to the base all the while tears running down my face from the pain and the shock and requested the manager call me. Approximately 30 minutes later the F&B manager called, I ran through the incident with her and she agreed that this was not acceptable. H&S was not adhered to and the staff were rude and inconsiderate, they should have called someone to assist and ensure no trea**ent was required. She would call me back.. I spent the next couple of days with limited movement and a huge bruise coming through and still no call from anyone asking if I needed a Doctor or assistance (as I mentioned I travelled on my own). I kept going to the reception asking to speak with the manager but he was nowhere to be seen the entire weekend. The staff at the reception desk were absolutely clueless and had no inclination to show any empathy or care towards their guest. 10 minutes before my departure on the Monday morning the manager arrived and after having insisted that I speak to him before I check out he

Very quite and nice place, sea view, good size pool.

This is a hotel which I have been staying for short times in 2020 and 2021. It is one of my favourites places to go off season. I went today for second time this summer to have a drink once at the end of July and it was OK except that the tables next to the sea were dirty. Today I went again and to my surprise and frustration the service was terrible and the drinks undrinkable. It is sad that such a lovely place it is worth it to go only off season because during the summer season is not good enough.
