It’s a good inn. The room is beautiful and clean. It’s a valuable place to stay. However, my living building doesn't have an elevator and the poor Wi-Fi.

I booked this hotel based on its proximity to University of Oregon and on the pictures on the website, which show an exercise room, a breakfast area, a secure lobby and elevators. Imagine my surprise to arrive and find I was NOT in the hotel, but a separate building with a staircase no secure access to breakfast, the laundry, workout area, or bar. I was traveling alone, and didn't appreciate the pictorial bait and switch.

There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Door didn’t shut well. One of the beds had what looked like chocolate on the piece of fabric on the bed. And looked like syrup on the ceiling by one of the beds.

The room was clean and quiet. The bathroom and beds were well appointed. The proximity to Track Town Pizza was very good. The hotel staff were pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was VERY good. Overall a very nice stay.

Even though Hayward Inn is three years old it still looks brand new. Great location - directly across the street from Matt Knight Arena where our concert took place. All aspects of this property and our stay were first rate.
