河之歌休養住宿加早餐旅館(RiverSong Retreat)

WOWOW!! This place is very special and we loved our stay. It was private, spacious, water pressure great, comfy large bed, outdoor sitting area on two sides so you could choose your outlook for eating. They even had a stock of easy reading books that I couldn't put down😀 Carina and Bob were wonderfully warm and welcoming hosts who responded to any request... including washing our clothes, drying, folding beautifully for us to find after a great day out exploring! Home made bread, fresh fruit, cereal etc all created wonderful fuel for a great day of waterfall seeking and swimming! They even have a private rainforest walk down to a spectacular part on Beatrice creek/river.....in which I had a lovely dip before brekkie!! Everything about the people and place sang to our souls.... just like the river. Thanks so much for sharing your slice of heaven with us, Bob and Carina! We will return! 🤗💐

What a trully wonderful retreat that Carina and Bob shared with us. So tranquil and surrounded by lush rainforest and tropical gardens. Each morning and eve it was so enjoyable to sit outside and listen to the bird songs, cicada hum, water flow , rainforest noises and birds feeding. Great environment to relax. Lovely walk to the river to sit and listen to the cascading water. Room was clean and had two very comfy chairs to sit and read. Had our own private outdoor area as well. Read in a review they were described as dungeons. Far from the truth! Believe the person who left the comment didn't even stay. On our arrival Carina had organised a fabulously, professional massage by Kim. Highly recommend her dedication and excellence. Perfect start to our little escape. Thank you to our hosts for making us feel comfortable and at home. Loved our time relaxing in your retreat.

The so called “retreat” is located at the end of a very long and windy dirt road, not easy to get to at all. Definitely not worth it for the high price tag. Tiniest most uncomfortable bathroom, and the kitchenette wasn’t even in the room but outside fully exposed.

The first thing that needs to be said about this B&B is that it is in a rather remote location. That is great for peace and solitude, but the price that you pay is a drive along narrow winding roads to get in and out. So returning from dinner in Millaa Millaa at night is not straightforward. It is best not to remember the precipices next to some of the corners that you noticed during the day. Apart from that, it is a lovely place. We had a really nice apartment with our own terrace that doubled as an outdoor cooking area. This is where we had our breakfast, included in a very reasonable price. Overall there was little to fault the place and I give it top marks in all categories. But if it is bright lights you are looking for then it is not for you.

We first stayed at River Song over two years ago and have been looking for a reason to stay there again. It was a pretty cold day and there was a fire ready for us. The hosts were extremely friendly and made us feel really welcome. The accommodation itself was well laid out and homely. Overall, excellent stay and well worth it. We will definitely return.
