快銀旅館(Silver Rapids Lodge)

The lodge and staff were great. There was two issues with the cabin we stayed. First one I’m sure there is not much can be done with but it seems the septic tank might been right next to the cabin so let’s just say was not the best smell in the air at times right out side of the cabin. Second issue was the drain in the bathtub was barely working so when taking a shower there was about 2 inches of standing dirty water. Was going to to advise the staff on our check out which was at 9am but no one was at the lodge at 9am and had to use their key drop. Aside from those issues, was a nice place to visit and stay at. Fishing off the one dock was actually pretty good. Caught bass walleye and northerns. Would stay here again but would want a different cabin then cabin 7 the pines.

Negative: No wifi or TV which is okay if you know ahead of time and choose that but to me it was not a fun surprise. The bed was so uncomfortable and the rooms were not clean. Positive: Beautiful property location. Reasonable rates. Dog friendly

We had a great experience at Silver Rapids Lodge. The place is a gem, very clean, friendly, rustic, and for the right price. The cabin had all we needed to make our trip comfortable.

First time stay at the lodge this summer. Clean, functional, and tho’ rustic, it suited us. Plenty of space for 2, adequate kitchen. The view & proximity to the water was great! Easy location to visit other nearby lakes and attractions. Affordable. Sound-proofing of the suite was less-than-ideal but can be overcome with a little creativity. Friendly, helpful staff. Would stay there again.

Beautiful stay. Cabins look like they are straight out of the 1970s which I thought added a nice touch to it. Appliances all worked well and was comfy. Very clean inside, and the area around it was really beautiful. We will most likely be back as we go up north to Minnesota once or more times a year.

I was reserving a cabin not a motel room. When I made my reservation they sent me a picture of the cabin I reserved. When I got there they said oh no they only have a room in the motel. I said that was not what I reserved! I strongly believed that they bumped us to the motel room for a better reservation. That ticked me off. We heard the people upstairs all 3 nights!

Even though we could only stay for a night we really did enjoy it! The area was cozy and very clean! I went down to explore the docks. The docks are in need of repairs or replacement. But i also understand getting to that can be difficult and pricey. I hope they can redo them soon! Otherwise we certainly would LOVE to come again. Maybe bring the kids when they are older also.

Unfortunately the property quality was not what was presented in the booking. The room had visible stains on the floor, no AC, very dated (rusty and broken) appliances. The couch had a piece of plywood to give it stability to sit on. Not that it’s necessary, but disclose it, there was no TV in the room either. We stayed on a rainy weekend and left the property early. Very uncomfortable.
