Well, there were 4 women in ou group.
I made reservations for 2 rooms with 2 queen size beds in each room.
I put in a request that the 2 bedrooms be on the first floor because a few of us mobility issues to to age. I also asked if there were adjoining rooms in the hotel. It was stated that there were no adjoining rooms. So I asked that 2 rooms be next to each other.
The 2 requests were documented.
We arrived in Falmouth at 11:00 a.m. Although check-in time is 4:00, they allowed us to check in one of the rooms(108) and 107 was in the process of being cleaned. We were told that 107 had a jacuzzi. We could check into 107 later in the day. So everything was going ok.
We went to lunch in Falmouth center and did some shopping. We received a phone from front desk employee wondering if we planned to check-in soon. We said that we would be back to the hotel by 4:30 and they said ok. We returned to the hotel at about 4:45.
Well, we all 4 of us went the front desk to complete the check-in for room 107. Not only weren’t my 2 friends assigned to room 107 (with the jacuzzi), They we assigned to a room on the total opposite end of the building. We could not have been further apart. Did I mention that a few of us have mobility issues. This was a totally disappointing inconvenience.
Thank heavens we were only staying one night.
The hotel was not full! We believe that room 107 which was promised to us, was given to other guests. We are not new to this hotel.
