Delta Hotels Detroit Novi

I had to change rooms because of their lack of housekeeping. There was brown stuff on my toilet and mold on the shower curtain. The family in the room next to us was extremely loud all night. There was a persistent poop smell in the lobby by the elevator. The whole week and there was never any towels in the pool area. my room was on the third floor and the one elevator that worked seemed a mile away. On top of all of that I had extra charges from my stay here.

The advertising said there was a terrace however there wasn’t. When I inquired with the front desk clerk he said there aren’t terraces at that facility. I would have reserved a room at another facility had I known as I specifically wanted a balcony/terrace. The shower had hair and rust. The hot tub bubbles were not operational The Caesar salad that I purchased fr the front concession was absolutely gross. I spit out the first bite and thought I might get sick from it. I’m not sure if they refunded that but I did request a refund.

The hotel charged my card mutiple times plus took over a hour to check in. With the delay I missed one of my business meeting and the hotel did not care nor offer anything for the inconvenience. Never dealt with such disrespect before.

I liked the overall niceness of the hotel. I thought I was booking a room with a hot tub in the room. Google let me down. Booked for 2 nights.. left after 1

U gave me the wrong room I payed extra for a room with a terrace and it wasn’t one and it messed up my entire trip

The room was dirty, and one of the sinks in our suite was stopped up. They are supposed to give us a free night, because of the conditions. We will see

Kayla, our receptionist did a great job in making us feel accommodated! The breakfast was very good, bed was super comfortable (the neck pillow was definitely an added bonus) and the room was nice and clean overall. My only complaint is that the Keurig had mold in the water holder and it never was replaced. Also the rooms could use a microwave!!

What didn't work was the thermostat and keurig. Shower plugged up, didn't drain properly. The sheets were heavily bleached. Front desk was helpful and polite.
